I would say yes, with emilie you don't have to worry anymore about being burned, so you could replace thoma with more aggresive subdps instead like xiangling. Her dendro applicant is quite fast too especially when her case is on level 2. And she could be build to be battery as well if you want in exchange of her damage.

@@Prince_Sharming Battlemage is a sub class of Mage. You don't call a Warrior doing battle a Battle Warrior. A battle Mage usually are the mages that chooses to amplify combat magic like Elemental Magic. And will also sometimes use Arcane Summons to form weapons and armor. Or they will go into battle armored and with Weapons. Alot of Battle Mages are Mages that got signed up or got drafted into an army, so they have to operate in combat for extended periods of time. They use their weapons and armor either as a substitute for when they run out of mana. Examples: Spell Breakers from Warcraft, Battlemages from Warhammer, The Dragon Riders from Eragon. I don't mean to be a dick. But wheres the point in calling something a battle mage when it's a wizard. Theres plenty of cool Mage Sub Classes that only uses magic? Or theres just Mage itself?

No, it's the people who wanted to see a fight. Not somebody calling themselves a battle mage but actually using staves instead of spells for one, and more time in the menus than in the actual game. He gives battlemages a bad name.

Healing spells in Enderal aren't spammable, each healing spell or potion you consume will raise your arcanist's fever which will debuff you as the fever goes higher, eventually killing you. The fever can be reduced through abilities or by drinking ambrosia which is a costly potion. SO you have to be very strategic with your combat and heals unlike Plebrim.

But the fact that "Eating 50 Potatoes" Is a valid form of self healing in the middle of combat always felt like a dumb thing.

I'm only using Equipping Overhaul. But if you want store such as shield on the back, dual swords/staves on back with other weapons all at the same time, i recommend you use Equipping overhaul and Dual Sheath Redux (DSR) both. They will conflict on some parts, but with the correct load order (with patches if there is any) will make both of them work. Make sure to install all DSR's requirements correctly.
