Eigenlijk was de Reunion Jazzband een prachtige voortzetting met die oude knarren, ze speelde wel eens in jazzclub B14 in R'dam en inderdaad toen ook nog met Joop Schrier op piano, en zoon van een automatenboer, Pim Hoogervorst op Banjo.

Mai sentito un brano jazz più penetrante ed "umano" di questo. Proprio da una band tedesca che aveva subito la più atroce repressione durante il Nazismo. Si sente la voglia disperata di pace, di libertà, di umano.

I have all of their recordings starting in 1945 when they played just after the WWII. Seen them live in Rotterdam Zoo building. Still have the program from that event. The band is still playing today in many European countries they visit. Still have some Long play records which i took with me to Canada.

Can anyone tell me if it's true that Glen Miller was missing in action during the World War 2???
