I want to have my surgery done by these guys.
The nurses are really caring and loving towards patients.I wish more nurses would to always be like this more often and do the best for their patients in their hospitals or emergency rooms.
There's a Mickey Mouse in the background and the boy is called Mickey
I am an adult and this really helped me! Transactional Analysis!
It would be so awkward pretending to be asleep in front of all those people *edit :* DID SHE HAVE REALLY GET A NEEDLE IN HER HAND WHILE ACTING??
For anyone scared of general anaesthetic: I just had surgery today, and let me tell you, you have nothing to worry about. 1 minute they are putting the iv in you( which doesn't really hurt as bad as you think it is) and then the next minute you are waking up in recovery. Super simple and I'm kinda embarrassed I got so worked up for not that much. Good luck!
Im having surgery tomorrow on my eye I was scared but I feel confident and less scared now
She really brave girl just like me she not afraid of nothing just like me my favourite is Amy she he nurse
so damn cute! They knocked the kid out 4 times and then she walked out on the operated leg. Miracle cure! But seriously...a lovely reassuring vid.
That guy that says that stuff he sounds like he's magourerley British (that just sounds wrong) (sorry if my comment was a little bit racist) but I like his acscent
*wakes up from coma* mom : yay your alive me: im going back to bed

I am getting an operation on my hip and leg soon and this really helped me
I was so scared but this helped me thx
I got that "Magic milk" and I was about to say what it tasted like xD but I fell asleep before I said what it tasted like xD
I can't believe they anaesthetised poor Sarah three times just for the video! I hope she didn't suffer any permanent brain damage.
I have no shame about being seventeen and watching this. Having my wisdom teeth removed this month, and my jaw reset in a few. This was so helpful. Thank you!

Thank you! this video has helped me. I'm going to hospital soon for a biopsy and really scared being put asleep. However, I am looking forward to 'best nights sleep in forever' as people say hehe

This was great! I wish they had this when I had my first surgery as a child. It would've calmed a lot of my nerves & fears!! Just glad it's available now!

I'm getting teeth surgery In about 8 weeks, I'm quite nervous but this video has told me there is nothing to worry about ! I'm 14 years
It's not bad. I also watched this video before I even knew I was going to have surgery. I had surgery about 2 months ago and I've been doing well. The anesthesia was awesome. It knocked me out and I slept a little after my second surgery.
Me too
he going to put to sleep with mask what makes you sleepy
The best part looks like sleeping and I want the tube. that makes you fall asleep so I can fall asleep easily for school.
but anesthesia is only for surgery or investigations.
thank you so much ! I was really scared before my operation , but this video helps me a lot ! ( sorry about nad english , I'm from Czech :-) )
I'm in Ireland....but I'm having surgery on my teeth this weekend and this really helped💞
awwww sorry
I had to have an operation on my eye. You do not remember anything. It doesn't hurt one bit when you are put to sleep and you wake up normally! 😜
does it feel like your in a coma or are your just a sleep like when we go to bed
Thay put me to sleep with a mask it was a funny feeling But I did not hurt
you pass out and then suddenly wake up in recovery. I awoke in a reclining chair. Most luxurious.
cool xoxo
science is amazing
I love this video it helps a lot for my operation
When I was five I had my tonsils removed, i just remember that they gave me some anaesthetics (i didn't look so i don't know what color), and about 2-3min. later i felt really sleepy and soon fell asleep , i woke up about 20min. later in my hospital room(it's a short surgery). Theres nothing to be afraid of just stay positive! Great video!
turtle lord im getting my tonsils out in a month an this comment made me more confident
Really ? Im getting mine out along with my adenoids and im getting my ear grommet insertioin , thnx alot for making me feel better about it x
nice
when i had my surgery, they put a flavor in the mask and i could smell it for about 10 seconds and then it started smelling like permanent marker. I think the flavor I chose was strawberry.
I kinda wish that they treated people of all ages like this lol
Kaiden McNulty agreed with u 100 %
I agree #100%
so good
i'm 29 & have had 6 brain surgeries over the past few years, and will need them for the rest of my life. i also had an abdominal surgery when i was 6, back in the days before most people knew what the internet was and UA-cam was still over a decade away! the ONLY preparation anyone in the medical field gave me for my surgery as a child came on the day of the operation. while i was in Pre-Op, they gave me a coloring book "to pass the time" - in reality, it was a coloring book that walked through what would happen! ironically, i still think EVERY HOSPITAL should offer such a thing even now! it passes the time, provides a welcome distraction, and also prepares you for what's ahead. plus, let's be honest - nothing is quite as scary if it's meant to be colored in. :-P HOWEVER, i would have LOVED to have had a video like this! as much as i think the coloring book is a good idea, i also think things like this video are so very important. things have come a long way in the past two decades!
