Quick and Easy Dropper Loop Rig
This is my go to bottom fishing rig. It’s easy and quick to make.I use it for many types of bottom fishing. It’s super versatile and can easily be turned into a fluke rig when you add a second dropper loop. Let me know in the comments what other rigs you’d like to see!

The goal was to catch a bass bigger than 44” so I could tag it. We weren’t able to catch one that size but we did catch 3 beautiful stripers with the biggest measuring 42”. I lived in a house on the pond you’re fishing, when I was stationed in that area. On the odd winter it would freeze just enough to ice fish it. We used a 10” auger, and struggled to get some of the largemouth through the ice hole!! Glad to see someone fishing it still!

What size stradic and rod would you suggest for tog for spinning setup
I prefer Daiwa. I use a saltist 4k and my jigging world ghost hunter 150g Any 4-5k reel will work fine

Thank you! Most of the fish are thrown back after data is recorded. The captain usually gets first pick if there’s fish to take home!

Thank you, I appreciate it! I truly love what I do, and being able to tag and watch these big bass swim is the best feeling! Especially when tags get returned! And yes Joe caught that fish 😂
Not true. We released plenty of big bass before the slot was in place and quite frankly wish the slot was in place sooner. Also, I personally fish for pleasure and the joy of catching a fish, not for meat.
