The tea place, Chorakukan is my favorite place!! I have visited there in my past vlog for seeing cherry blossoms.

@@guuusdays From May 15-17 I have hotel booked in Kyoto but the funny thing is I will barely spend any time in Kyoto. I will visit Uji on the 15th, Ise on the 16th. I will stay until 3pm latest in Kyoto on the 17th before heading to Tokyo to catch my flight. I'm wondering what I should do on the 17th. I've been to Kyoto many times before. I may just eat. Who knows.

@@panathenaea We know you are a Japan Travel Professional because you go to Ise (Mie Prefecture). Maybe you can have lunch near Kyoto station while watching the cherry blossoms because of the mild winter this year and the early blooming. Have a nice trip!❤

@@guuusdays but I’m going in May? The blossoms should be over. Izumo, Koyasan, Ise are all on the plan. I think I might ascend into Japan heaven

This was taken on March 12, 2023. The expected bloom date of cherry blossoms in Kyoto in 2024 is around March 25🌸.

This is an everyday scene in Kyoto.💕

Thank you for comments! 8:33 In the past, people made a wish at a shrine and dedicated a small torii gate as a token of their gratitude if their wish was granted. As a result, there are now more than 10,000 torii gates in Japan !!

There are also small boats, though not for crossing the bridge 👀

The weather is nice, a little chilly. but, since the rainy season begins in June, there will be a lot of rain!!

Sorry for late reply! I had been to Rurikoin last Novenmber 26th. Usually, the best time to view the autumn leaves in Kyoto is from middle November to early December. So 1st of November is little early but I believe you can see some beautiful autumn leaves plases (I think this Rurikoin is one of them). I've done a little research on the places that have best time in early November.
