Those tie rods are not OEM! Never seen any F series with toothpicks like that for tie rods. Those are cheap aftermarket parts, unless they build them differently for the Australian market. I don’t see why though. Looks like a driver buying cheap parts to me.

This is so antipromotional for the brand, especially for a car that has been marketed to be tough and rugged, reason why Ford justified its excessive high asking price. No wonder when they start flooding the 2nd car market. Owning one would make me very anxious about it.

You know... That sucks and I don't own a Ford, though I like the Ranger Raptors... As a owner of a new GM Canyon, after looking at ALL the mid-sized trucks on the market... I don't trust any of them. They are all crap. They are all BS. They all cut costs, features, and quality on the redesigns. They all increased prices and pass on no savings. Their execs still get massive generation setting pay outs. I see the comments. Their brand loyalty, why they will never buy X, Y, or Z. These brands just see all of us as walking wallets for the 'now'. Ford, GM, Toyota, Lexus... The dollar just doesn't go as far anymore. E: Also, yeah... This encompasses all models.

These are notorious for steering box and tie rod failures, you can beef them up with the 74weld upgrade.
