Good, you made the right choice. The Retake is just objectively better than the original Overdue in every way, and this versions sprites are just so amazing.

another set of facts: mx's faker form has been used so much it basically wore down, im talking about his past appearances specifically, fnf pc port, Mario Monday massacre, fnf week 85. yes that's why he looks so weird. mx is actually a gentleman when he's not killing Lucas/new victims because he's adapted Mario's personality. mx's "clothes" are quite literally a damn skin suit, they're LITERALLY HIS SKIN.
