It’s a nice town for sure but pay is very low 😢😢😢. No oil fields

When we first moved here, i was surprised that the squirrels weren't wearing cowboy hats. I literally thought everybody wore cowboy hats and boots. I'm glad that everyone dresses how they want to. I've lived here a couple years now. The best part of living here- people are friendly. It's from the heart. I've made friends just by going to the grocery store. I'm so thankful we moved here.

It’s ok here just the drug problem is getting bad and apartments are expensive but they aren’t manage well or kept up with.

I used to go to ACU for 1 year. It's so nostalgic to me. I should visit there again someday.

Good informational video.. This is a year old, so no dog park at Zoo anymore and the flights from Abilene to west coast are at least 3 times more than making the drive to Dallas to fly out..

It's cheap and relatively safe. But the quality of people here is trash. Very clicky and snooty and not super welcome of new people.

When I was working in Abilene in the 70's there was a cool dance hall named Ponderosa. I had a lot of fun there. Don't know if it is still around or not. The beer was cold and the ladies were good two steppers.

Hi Tonya,planning to move in Abilene due good job offer. My concern is to look for the apartment close to hospital first and stay for a couple of months before deciding to get a new house. How is the apartment rental in Abilene looks like. I search on google but not enough info.

Slow pace? I have owned property in Abilene for 26 years on Cole Drive, not even a main thoroughfare. Cars come by so fast on that street, and have for the entire time I have owned property there, and the police don't even give it a second look. People in that town only have two settings, full speed and dead stop. There is nothing leisurely about the driving habits there, if anything more traffic enforcement and even more intelligent planning is needed for the traffic control system. As for the weather, that is one of the things that would attract me.
