I'm here because of Cixin Liu
Yeah, im here for cixin liu 😅
I bet millions people will be here after Netflix third season.
crack cocaine brought me here
You should try Cixin Liu
Who else is here because of Poe?
Who’s here from the gloryhole video with the 2 guys doing the nasty next to a raging whirlpool?
Jules Verne brought me here!
My new favorite video of all time
Edgar Allan Poe brought me here.

Who else is here because of Death's End?
Is that the gloryhole video with the 2 guys doing the nasty in front of a whirlpool?
Wikipedia brought me here...after several tangents away from tornadoes.
Massive disappointment compared to Hollywood's portrayal aren't they
Try travelling across it in a small boat, you'll probably need a change of underwear afterwards! A maelstrom doesn't look like a bigger version of the water going down your sink, it is composed of dozens of whirlpools.
I can hear thousand horses stampeding.
Captain Nemo brought me here
Everyone’s here for Cixin Liu
I’m here from Edgar Allan Poe, actually😂
Yes
Team Poe and also dnd lvl 5 spell

Cixin Liu me trajo aquí 🤯
Thank you Cixin Liu for introducing me to this in wonderful detail. (Also for informing me of Edgar Allen Poe's piece on this wonderful bit of nature)
Literally just read about it in the third book and came here to look it up haha
Same for me :)
Here for the same reason!!!
Same
Same 😊
"Mighty"? Waste of my precious time. Whirlpool? None, zero, zip. Maelstrom? Barely choppy . Calm waters abound Shame on you for your mistepresentation.
@matosonmania A maelstrom isn't like a giant version of your sink emptying. These are very dangerous waters, there were whirlpools all around except you were too dumb to see them.
'they that go down to the sea in ships': from Psalm 107, King David. They that go down to the sea in ships, and occupy their business in great waters; These men see the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep. For at his word the stormy wind ariseth, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
Macfarlane brought me here.
Edgar Allan Poe brought me here
Curiosity in maelstroms brought me here :)

how are you not dead? fake
Edgar Allan Poe brought me here.

Me too lol
I know this sounds stupid but I was expecting an experience to see a whirlpool up close
You kinda did. The camera was so close to the water that you could only see the edge, but around 1:20 you can see the water appear to rise. In actuality, this is the formation of a vortex pulling the boat back/down towards its center. You can even hear the engine working overtime to overcome the force of that tidal flow.
same
Beautiful, like a painting, the clouds seem so close to the water
Jules Verne brought me here
Me too 😂
Me three 😁
@@nova3530onyt finished the book just yesterday. First thing after that was looking for that phenomenon named Maelstrom 😂
@@hans-christianreimann1112 That's awesome 👌 That book was literally my childhood. It was a birthday gift. It's been a huge inspiration in my Architecture designs too. I honestly believe it shaped me, in many ways😎
@@nova3530onyt 20000 leagues under the sea (in german 20000 Meilen unter dem meer) was the First Jules Verne book i have ever read. In Back to the future Part 3 that book is beeing mentioned and since then i wanted to red it. So I did. In the beginning it was sort of Boring and it took a long time to finish it. After reading some other masterpieces i tried this one again and now it is one of my favorites and so is Jules Verne.
Poe brought me here, thanks for the video, now I can imagine a bit more the story
centralperk27 thanks man. Poe’s description isn’t all wrong 😉. He claims that it gets dark at night during summer though 🤷♂️
Ditto!
@@srenfrederiksen6455 Is this whirlpool THAT dangerous? Or has its fame been exaggerated throughout history?
@@edwardamosbrandwein3583 The real gnarly things happen in bad weather, with standing waves.
@@stefflus08 Thx for your information. Does this take place offshore the LOFODEN ISLANDS? And is it also true that the whirlpool is called "Moskoe Strom" in Norwegian?

Me too!
Not really as mighty as he described in the book though
How rough and how dangerous is the moskstaumen?
Well - as long as wind and current is running in the same direction it’s not a problem at all. Current may be running at up to 4-5 knots but pretty peacefully. However- as soon as the tide changes and starts running against the wind pretty rough sea can build within minutes!
Søren Frederiksen thanks!
It's hard to travel
And this is part of minecraft
@@fort_knight5034 lmao
Hi Soren! Could you tell me a bit more about the trolling? What is the depth of water that you would ideally troll the lures over? And also, do you do this when the tide is running or when the tides are down? I would like to try this type of fishing next week on Rost.
Hi Alex We usually troll 8-12 meters down over 15-20 meters of water. The technique works fine when the tide is too slow for jigging but we have also had succes in up to 4 knots of tidal current. Just tackle up and give it a go 😎👍
Martin Wijnia Hei Martin.
It is several natural is full of Nordic.
Awesome fishing. Keep going.
Nice video!!
The Place at 2:26 minutes... What place is that i Å? I don't reconised it:)
Ramon: thanks for the feed back! About the fishing, see www.nordic-Sea-Angling.se or contact me on FB. I'll be glad to help you out!
