The deadly quick and efficient decision making with every movement, every look, every nade. It’s the speed that truly kills. The only moments of patience are when it’s an explicit decision. Milliseconds are never wasted. Oh those random melees into the air or at a wall? That’s only from sheer boredom in those few moments just waiting for enemies to spawn back 😂 The difference between a top halo player and casual or even above average is the brute force speed with which they do everything. And in a game where every animation, every movement, etc.. its all on an equal playing field - it’s so incredible to watch how an expert players completely trims the fat, and just overwhelms the other team simple by how fast they engage and react at every interaction. Tremendous Halo experience is required, but The pure cognitive processing ability is really something else. Show me a top gamer and I’ll show you a high IQ. Period. Full stop.
