Exploring Cambodia - Angkor Archeological Site Part 1
After yesterday’s travel to Siem Reap / Angkor Archaeological Region, we woke well rested and ready to explore!
First stop, Angkor Wat…….. built over millennia ago, we can only wonder astonishingly how this was possible. From the scale to the carings, everything here was incredible!
We travel to get lunch before returning g to another Wat on the site. Again, marvelling are the scale and the beauty.
Before heading back to the resort, we visit with a Monk who gives us a blessing.
Tonight we visit our 4th Hard Rock Cafe of the trip and our 39th since starting our collection before heading to what our Guide has called ‘the circus’. We would soon find out that the troupe was portraying the history of Cambodia.
We stop this video here and will pick up Day 2 on a separate (Part 2) video!!

Can I just say, from a local, well done on doing Glasgow right. You have to look up to see alot of the buildings beauty. It's wonderful to see the tourist future it has after a darker reputation. You would have noticed many references to the bird, the tree, the fish and the bell. This is from The city of Glasgow’s coat of arms features four iconic symbols: the bird that never flew, the tree that never grew, the bell that never rang, and the fish that never swam. These elements are deeply rooted in the city’s patron saint, Saint Mungo, and his life. He was the mural of the homeless guy with the birds, on the building. Haste ye back. If naw, lang may yer lum reek! (Come back soon. If not, long may your chimney have smoke coming from it, In old Scots.) One love from Glasgow. 💙 Oh, and aye, there is only Rangers for Glasgow is blue. 🦁😃👍
