Lovely to see the area and some great fishing. When I was a young man I was stationed down there at Raleigh (1979). I used to do a lot of running and walking around Cawsands/kingsands and Rame it’s a lovely area. Amazing to see the old fort done up into apartments. Is Tregantle fort still a military base? I remember assaulting it on my final exercise in the Marines. Beautiful Bass. I kayak fish up in North Yorkshire, I’d love to come down your way to have a paddle out. Thanks for sharing your day afloat.🐟👍

I may be getting the striker 4 for Xmas mainly so I can see the depth out there and some structure, you wanna get yrself a set of pliers seeing as yr using those top lures easy unhooking great lures but dangerous when they start to flap around

Great to get down your local tackle shop and find out what's being used! Great that you caught a Mackerel but I agree, haven't seen them come in the Sound in large numbers for a while now
