Sitting with my friend, Bill, in the Pitt student section, we decided at the half that we would leave the first time Pitt had to punt or West Virginia scored...and so we stayed until the end! Forgotten is that, the very next season, Pitt fell behind Navy 35-10 and rallied again to win 36-35!

I was eight years old, at this game, it hooked me, 50+ years later, for better, and for worse, I am a Pitt fan
