LGBTQIA people seeking treatment for an alcohol or substance use disorder face unique challenges that can prevent their sustained recovery. This is just one reason why LGBTQIA patients experience higher rates of alcohol and substance use disorders. But despite a well-documented need for culturally competent, inclusive addiction treatment programs, these patients often find their options are lim...

Yes! I worked in an outpatient facility for 17 years and have my own coaching business . I know how important your work is. My passion is supporting people on their journey to a happier sober life ! Looking forward to connecting with you !
What a truly wonderful, honest, open testimony of the bravest journey.
What sets them apart is playing games with patients health, having "providers" give you false information, lies and only care about doing the bare minimum all so they can charge the maximum. Fuck Bright view. I lost a good friend to their deceitful practices and bullshit games in a Maryland facility near the beach because of their ghetto ass practices. 🖕 The clinic manager Amber too. More worried about covering her ass for her job than actually operating a functional facility.

Former Recon Doc here. Same thing happened to me. Got blown up, injured back and that bagan the 10yr opioid pill problem that led to street pharmacy once VA cut me off Oxys cold turkey.
Omg its a choice.

15 year addict clean since 18 years old? I was a addict always wish the best but don't add up.
I think he means 2018, not age 18.
@@jennifercarey1330 thank you I was more confused than a billy goat on AstroTurf
The math does not make sense to me. But either way i wish u the best.
Thats what i thought.
Maybe he’s been clean “since 2018.” That’s the only thing that makes sense.
THEY DO RECOVER!!!!! Congratulations sir! Praying for your continued successful recovery journey 🙏♥
I'm just getting ready to start the program on Thursday. I'll be taking methadone. I'm ready!!!
So great to hear!
We don't have any in Fairfield,Ohio location. I wish we did.
So proud of you! Glad to get Jason back!
Well said! I get a lot of negative feedback from members of the 12 step community. It's their way or no way. M.A.T. can be the answer thousands are looking for, but are afraid of the stigma they're going to face.
I too grew up around drugs. But i broke the cycle.. & now i have been n recovery for years...& i have 3 sons who r amazing. My oldest is 17 & he won't touch a drug or alcohol because of me being so open & honest with him. It's beyond possiblw to break the addiction...once u realize & accept that u r one...& that u need help & u WANT to change. I am so glad u r living a better life & can speak openly to help others.
Don't feel bad brother you're not the only one I didn't know what a normal family was until I got away from mine
Very well said Dr. Waller!
I’m not saying officer synan hasn’t done anything good. However, what I am saying is - from witnessing it first hand myself, he is a complete douchebag. Pick a better representative.
Rob showed us this Bit you n you speaking and Rite away you truly touched my Heart ❤️ ❤😊
Clean and sober for 16 years
🤣 'promosm'
You go girl
All Glory goes to our Lord and Personal Savior Jesus Christ. My recovery would not have happened if it wasn't for him.
That's my baby. So proud of you!
Thank you
I love you
My experience with Brightview was by far the worst experience with a health provider in my 54 years. I had been a patient of Corbella health in Glendale Arizona for about 7 years prior to Brightview taking over in early 2023. I was treated with Non opiate pain medications for pain management and never had a drug problem and as they took over Corbella. I was informed 3 months ago that they would no longer treat me but that they would find a doctor to treat me and continue my treatment until I was content with another provider. The problems started right away when they referred me to a place that would require me to submit to all physical therapy and any other thing they wanted. I declined and made multiple calls prior to my next appointment to get another referral and simply could not get a call back. Because I could not get a call back, I filed a complaint through the Brightview web site and again never got a call back. The next appointment I had I went though all of these details with the doctor and I was assured that he was there to help and my care would continue. Three minutes after all this reassurance I walked out to make my next appointment feeling like this was all going to be ok and I was dismissed as a patient and told regardless of if I liked the referral or not, I was not welcome back. I’m going to be fair and say they didn’t say those exact words, but it came down to the same thing. In short because I filed a complaint, I was systematically dismissed and the doctor 3 minutes earlier had said “I will see you in a month” They had already printed out papers for me to sign to send to this facility that I knew nothing about, didn’t know if they take insurance or any other information. I contested just long enough to realize it had all been planned.

This is a HIPPA violation. • Office staff Blurting out the medication I’m prescribed where everyone within the office could hear it and discussing my case in the open and not in private. This is also a HIPPA violation. • The doctor assuring me everything was just fine as he walked me out to the slaughter is just as unethical as it gets. • My last appointment on 7/31/2023 included a referral to another doctor that will NOT accept me or make an appointment without the referral and my records and as of 8/4/2023 Brightview again has failed to send anything. • I have been left without a doctor and this equates to abandonment. I would urge anyone considering Brightview to find somewhere else.

Brightview health is Incredible 🫂
I sincerely hope someone higher on food chain within Brightview reads this. As of this morning I was dismissed as a patient having been with Corbella for 8 years before brightview took over. I had been there for 7 years as a pain management patient. I was informed 3 months ago your company could not see or treat pain management patients but agreed to find a doctor I was comfortable with but even that one referral turned out to be something that was not workable in that I had to submit and agree to anything they wanted and that acceptable. I asked for my medical records 2 months ago today ( all of them) and still do not have them. Durning my appointment today I went through every phone call in the last 2 months that was never returned, my medical records and the one referral. The doctor assured me they would work with me to find a new doctor and continue my treatment until I was comfortable and not 3 minutes later the office staff had drafted paper work for me to sign to send my records to another doctor but had not discussed anything with me but made it clear I was dismissed at that moment because they made a referral......I asked the question " what happens if this new doctor was doesnt work out, I come back here correct?) The response NO .....once your referred that's it. I had spent 20 minutes going through every detail with the doctor and he once again assured me he would be seeing me until I found something I was comfortable with and said not a word as 5 staff members stood by and discussed my medical information and medications in the open. I'm 54 and never been to a doctors office where the staff dictates my healthcare. Again, minutes before this doctor assured me it would all be ok and offered a list to be able to seek out a suitable. HIPAA laws have been broken, patient doctor trust has been broken and the new one I just learned today is Patient abandonment. Last week I filed an online complaint with all that has and has not happened and I'm only left to assume that this company's way of dealing with a complaint is retaliation by dismissing a patient. I have never experienced a healthcare provider that is so disconnected and irresponsible. More to come brightview, every detail is documented. You should be ashamed for operating a bussiness like this.
Going to Bright View tomorrow in Portsmouth Ohio to start my alcohol recovery! I’m excited!

I have a nurse practitioner at the Newport news Virginia office that is the worse. She lies about your numbers on your drug test, she takes meds away from you for no reason and without warning or discussion and treats you like your nobody. I have been cleaned for over 3yrs and never have been treated so bad in all my life. Mary Valentine NP at the Newport news Virginia office is the reason I have changed addiction treatment program. Brightview don't want to help people and you are nothing but a number there. She needs to be fired and they need to treat their clients better.
