Hello from Atlanta, Georgia. Really glad to see these reviews from overseas. Here in America many tech reviewers are jaded. This is an amazing piece of technology that works out of the box. $3500? Samsung sells a folding phone that cost over $2000. In 1986 I paid $1800 for an Apple IIc with a dot matrix printer. How much is that in today’s dollars? We pay the cost to move tech forward. Apple has done half of the work, now it’s up to us, the users, to put our half to work and find creative ways to use this tech.

ents13 Add a comment… @jdarg41630 seconds ago The future arrived last year October 2023 😂😂and apple can't be a leader in a field they entered 8 year late Meta will always sell more headsets than apple and even Sony will probably out sell apple and the design does not make any sense as its a headset and headsets are not really ment to have glass on the outside thats why they have a problem in the USA with peoples glass cracking when they haven't used the headset and that could be a big design defect and the Meta Quest 3 does way more than this device does because is has 8 years worth of software and its also getting the 1st VR GTA game which will be huge as to people apdopting XR Headsets and if the Apple Vision Pro is a Spatial computer then the Quest 3 must be a Super Spatial computer as it does everything apart from the eye tracking and the higher resolution and there is going to be a eye tracking add on in the future and the Quest 3 also uses hand tracking it was the 1st headset to do this and I would prefer controllers as you getting feedback when your playing games and vison pro does even support WebXR which is the standard on most Web browsers on most headsets which allows you to play 1000s of games and apps directly from the Web browser with no download needed

3 or 4 generations now later no upgrade on cameras or battery ill pass looking at the chineese foldable they blow away on cameras and battery vs Samsung not to mention overall specs including thinner and weight

Quest 3 destroys the capabilities of the Vision Pro for way way way less money.

Good review. You’re right about price comparisons. Many reviewers have pointed out that the Quest3 VR headset is a fraction of the price, but that price comparison is disingenuous. If you want the high end graphics and low latency for games like MS Flight Simulator and No Mans Sky for example then you need PC-VR where you could get a Dell Alienware PC with nVidia 4090 graphics card for $A5K. That $A5K plus $A1K for the 512GB Quest 3 is $A6K! same as the entry level price of the Apple Vision Pro. So you need to compare apples with apples in pricing (pun intended). Of course the Quest 3 has a greater range of games because it has been around longer, if you take the Quest 2 into account.

We're getting ripped in Australia. This laptop sells for $1,500 USD in America.

I like this but I don't see a use case for me when considering the price. I recently got an Asus with a 14 inch oled screen for $499 and I bought the Wuawe portable monitor for $55 after coupon. It literally takes me just seconds to setup and now I have a 14 inch screen and a 15.6 inch screen. I can also position the monitors anyway I wish. The portable monitor takes little to no room at all in my backpack and my laptop powers the monitor. To be honest I'm not sure if I would ever use a dual screen setuo on a plane (just too cramped). I actually really like this new Zenbook duo but I don't think for $1500 vs the $555 price I paid justifies it considering for my use case I'm getting a very similar experience. Great review by the way. I've seen many on this laptop and yours is perhaps the best one yet!
