If you are not seeing it, you can try selecting 'Other' for the use cases and 'Business' as the app type while creating the new App. I'll create a new video showing how to use the new Instagram API soon.

@wesleymogaka yes you can use logging and analytics instead of langsmith. But you will need to manage all the logic to make sense of the logging data. Langsmith makes the life easier by abstracting all those implementation details. You may want to explore the open source alternatives of langsmith.

'Production' word is subjective. It's not ideal for someone who is building complex applications and needs more control and customization (atleast today). It may be ideal for someone who is building saas/simple application or doing POC. There are good number of customers in the later category and that's what DataStax is currently targeting.

Very good response. Langflow is good for quick prototypes. It can also do complex ones but then the flowcharts will be too many and confusing and it to be easier to just code. The best tool in the family in my opinion is langgraph. It's easy to learn and create complex agentic workflows.

@IvySaskia you can follow the instructions here to update the version: docs.n8n.io/hosting/installation/docker/#updating Important: Take a backup of ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n Ensure that your n8n instance is using a persistent volume or a mapped directory for its data storage. This is crucial because the workflows, user accounts, and configurations are stored in the database file (typically database.sqlite), which should be located in a directory that remains intact even when the container is removed. In your docker-compose.yml, you should have something like this: ``` volumes: - ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n ``` This mapping ensures that the .n8n directory on your host machine is used for data storage, preserving your workflows and configurations across container updates. When you stop and remove the n8n container, you are only deleting the container instance itself, not the data stored in the persistent volume. As long as the volume is correctly configured, your workflows and accounts should remain unaffected. But to avoid any chance of data loss you should take a backup of ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n before removing the container.

@@FuturMinds ok... when I use on my desktop docker, the data does not lose, but on this deploy how do I make the backup? I restart with the new image (making pull the new iamge) , I got two issues. 1 Data is lose .. 2 the new version on the container is not updated.

Then update the image and spin up a new container. To create a backup, you can copy ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n to your local or another directory on the same VM even before deleting the container. And then, after updating and spinning up a new container, if you see the data getting lost, you can replace ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n with the one you saved earlier. This should work fine.

AWS Lambda is a serverless compute service designed to run code without managing servers, but it's not ideal for self-hosting applications like n8n due to its constraints around long-running tasks, storage, and network access. n8n requires a persistent environment, such as a VM or container, which AWS Lambda is not designed for.

I didn't really understand your question. But if you are talking about getting other users Instagram API token in your media management project, these would be uber level steps: 1. Create a new app and obtain your App ID and App Secret 2. Add the Facebook Login product to your app. 3. Set your OAuth redirect URIs to your application's endpoints 4. Request permissions such as public_profile, pages_manage_posts, publish_to_groups, instagram_basic, and instagram_content_publish. 5. Integrate Facebook Login and redirect users to Facebook's login page to authenticate and authorize your app. 6. Upon successful login, Facebook redirects users to your redirect URI with an authorization code. 7. Exchange the authorization code for an access token (short-lived) using your App ID and App Secret. 8. Use the /oauth/access_token endpoint with your App ID, App Secret, and the short-lived token to get a long-lived token. Store this token in your DB in encrypted form and create a mechanism to refresh it automatically time to time. 9. Your application can then user these access tokens to post on user's profile on their behalf.

“Free tier” is if you were granted API credits through a promotion or trial. OpenAI is no longer giving any credits to pay for use simply for those that sign up.
