Very nice advertising film
I really want to build one, but there don't seem to be any plans and materials lists anywhere.
Pretty annoying just staring at you for the entire video maybe next time walk around and show the features after all thats what we are wanting to see.
Wow it’s literally Jorrvaskr from Skyrim.

What an excellent guide!! So knowledgeable and wellspoken. I will definitely visit this wonderful place next time I'm in Norway. Love, from Sweden!
I would so marry this woman
I will feast this weekend on my hall / apartment with my beast , my cat girlie 😮😢 alots of good ale 🍺 and buffalo wings 😮😢
On my way.
Så synd at Hovedporten får forfalle! Den er designet av Carl Berner.
Very nice. My heart hurts when I see these places. They feel like a home I can never return to. It's amazing what you do here. Honoring the sacrifice of warriors who literally gave everything to protect what they loved.
Major props to Skirner, the ultimate wingman. Freyr needed some love. Thanks for the English translations. I'd love to learn Frisian and old norse, but life gets in the way...as does my own laziness lol
Feast hall
Feast on wings and beer 🍺 and maybe some nachos 😮
I'd love to see that first hall and get more knowledge o my ancient ancestors Viking culture
Excellent video and information. Apparently some of the viewers aren't impressed, but I think you did a good job in the presentation. More video of the buildings' interior would be nice in the future, but that will have to be later. Skal from Vinland!
Fascinating 😊I was an exchange student in Norway for a year when I was young. I was in a kommune called Stange, which is located on the eastern shores of Lake Mjøsa, in Hedmark. There were mounds lying in the farmers’ fields too, and I was told these were Vikings’ graves 😮
the mead hall was simply replaced with the Pub. They served the same purposes for a millennia after the "fall" of the mead hall culture. Gathering, drinking, celebrating, political alliance forming, all took place in the local village pub.
Sale is the old English version and is found only in placenames now. Hrothgar is the old English version of the Norman French, Roger. Both from the Germanic original. Saga is found in English as the word, ‘saw., still used as an archaism today. The English House of Lords is divided between lords temporal and lords spiritual, like the division of this hall. Once upon a time, the Palace of Westminster had the king and his nobles and clergy beside him. What eventually evolved into the kings bench. Be well 😊
She is so wrong and so uneducated in viking age and prior history. Nothing she said is close to correct
Very nice video, I will have to go to Midguard Viking Center the next time I am in Denmark.
It is located in Norway, not Denmark.
Too bad; I am familiar with the alcohol laws of both countries and it would be more fun in Denmark.
@@danditto6145 Yes. Go there.
Como qusiera una Valkiria Nalgona...❤❤
O tetona 😢😮
Awesome
Awesome.
Thank you so much, that was wonderful x
Wow thats awesome. Who built the longhouse?
It would have been nice to see less of the girl and more of the interior of the hall, especially the ceiling/roof....
At origin longhouses/meadhalls comes from western europe most ancient are 10 000BC, it appeared in Scandinavia around 500BC with huge Celtic cultural influence and immigration. It remained in western europe until Medieval ages but in stone ... ...
fuck a dinning room, a viking hall is where it's at.
How ironic the English have a resting hall though the Viking fucked there ansester
@@CygnusX1123 true but it depends on what branch of heathenry
Beautiful.
It would have been nice to see inside
Very Cool place thank you:)
My cat's name is Hrothgar, so when you spoke about Beowulf he perked up and trotted to the screen to see who called him
That's soo cute
Kjempe flott historie ❤❤❤❤
reminds me the grand hall of Raventhorpe in AC Valhalla
Literally same lol. My family are descendants of Ragnar, my mom always told me stories that I wish I had paid more attention to. My friend bought me AC Valhalla for ps5 for Easter and I am now obsessed with this stuff lol
Hail odin
In English so it Wodin as in Wodinsday..
Would have liked to see more of the Viking hall and less of this women.
The Viking hall is very special and secretive that’s why they do not show much of it it’s very special.
My great grandmother was from Denmark. And I’ve always wanted to visit.
This in Norway.
My great grandfather came from Sweden with his brother in 1870 and I have traced our ancestors all the way to the Viking era. On bucket list to visit Sweden!
My great grandmother was from Denmark and I’ve always wanted to visit.* So go.
Amazing ... Thank you !!!!
Great!
Imported xd nice eufemism
Yes. I agree. To much talk. A bit 2 clinical! Not enough visual. Back in the good 'ol days there would have been less talk & more debauchery! Bring back the good 'ol days 🙂
No this is because they don’t show what’s going on inside or what it looks like because it’s very special and secretive.
After 3 + mins of her talking about the hall they go inside and she keeps talking but instead of moving the camera around They just focus on her.
Yes because what’s done in the hall is very special and you have to be there to know what is going on.
I just bought AC valhalla, Nuff said
Go to the Viking hall in Norway I’m AC Valhalla, there is a band that plays and if you wait around and sit at the tables people dance and grab a bite to eat
that roof omg! :O
