You may have the seat that doesn't quick release. To check, you can see if the hinge mechanisms are either gold or silver. See the video at 4:14 ua-cam.com/video/YYk-oSH9YTU/v-deo.html and you can see me pointing at the part that with be either colour. If it is the silver /chrome one, it will not quick release, you will have to remove it via the magnets and the back cover - it all comes off together. (seat and back cover together) Hope this makes sense!

I'm not sure what brand mixer you have but you can get a 35mm cartridge with an anti-scald ring (or hot water limiting ring) - here is the link as an example: kerox.hu/en/product/kn-35/ ADJUSTMENT OF THE HOT LIMIT RING: When the cartridge is supplied the hot limit ring is in the middle position. To save hot water and to avoid scald the ring can be turned. In this case the pin of the ring is bumped against the stop around the cartridge, before we can reach the full hot water position by turning the handle of the faucet. The adjustment of the ring is as follows (see the attached drawing): The hot limit ring must be removed from the cartridge. The ring must be turned clockwise up to the requested point. The ring must be re-positioned onto the cartridge. Maximum flow rate can be adjusted by a grub screw located in the lever. I suggest to use a penetrating oil like WD-40/CRC 556 or similar and spray into where the thread is locked up. Leave it for a few days to let it soak in and then try again. Use a damp rag or a rubber ring on the rim cover so that you can grip it better. Let me know if you want me to make a video on how to do it. Hope this helps.

The cartridge inside all single lever taps/faucet/mixers, is the main working part that mixes the hot and cold water. Put very simply, It uses two ceramic discs tightly packed against each other with holes in them, a hole for hot and cold inlet and a hole for the mixed (warm water) outlet. As they move in different positions, (via the control handle) they mix the water to get the desired outlet temperature out your shower rose. this part is susceptible to the debris in the water and the ceramic discs can be scratched by the debris. This causes leaking, running through so that the tap doesn't properly turn off. Further to this, if the water system is exposed to high pressure or water hammer (hydraulic shock - when the mixer handle is slammed off very fast) this could also destroy the inside of the cartridge. You can think of this part as the sacrificial part in the tap and manufacturers make this the easiest part to replace. Hope this helps.

Hey there. Unfortunately, on an inbuilt shower mixer like this, you will have to reduce the water pressure of the complete house via a pressure reducing valve, of course this will drop the pressure of the whole house but that is one option. The other (and more simple option) is to add a restrictor to the wall elbow outlet. This is only applicable if you have a slide shower (handshower and hose setup). You would remove the hose from the wall elbow and place the restrictor in the hose fitting and then screw it back on. If you have a fixed head outlet (no slide rail) you will need to unwind the head and install the restrictor in the inlet of the rose/head and re-install. Hope this helps. Cheers

Depending on the model and the cartridge that it takes, the seals should come with the new cartridge. Make sure the old cartridge gasket/seal is not left in the mixer when removing it, check for this as in the video at 3:48 mins - ua-cam.com/video/YLLudC3DdxM/v-deo.html Cheers.

Most plumbing shops will sell these cartridges, usually known as 35A or 40A 'flat bottom' cartridges (35mm and 40mm diameter respectively) the Kerox brand are very good, check here - kerox.hu/en/products/cartridges/ - ask your local plumbing store for them.
