Great readings from everyone - interesting story, Rob.... :-)
Congrats to J., and Homocats…. and Thanks especially to the folks who held the Zine up to the camera !
Great evening, thanks to Greg and BGSQD, to Rob from Triangle Publishing, and to all the great writers who read. Especially my favorites Greg Herren (now I know where Scotty gets his sass) and the always inspiring Chris Bram (and missed you 'Nathan).
Jary Lang was a wonderful photographer. Does anyone know who that person was in the audience who mentioned him?
Hello, how are you? I am a regular viewer of your UA-cam channel. I came here to say that- "I always learn something new from your channel-so valuable!" Good Luck to You
Thank you so much! Lovely to read that!
@@bgsqd I think your video deserves a lot more views in proportion to its quality. Do you SEO your videos?
Thank you for putting this content out there for those who can't attend in person!
Somebody was sho' nuff jammin' Stevie Wonder's greatest hits eleven years ago. 🎶😸
Thank you for hosting this conversation.
Thanks for sharing this talk! 😊Looking forward to having the pop-up book in hand!
🙏🏽💙
So happy about him and can’t wait to read his book.
Found and bought the book on Audible, and have been enjoying it. Was at first thrown, thinking this is the Dan Jones of the "Castles", and other English history series/books. (As clear in this footage, they're obviously not the same.) Still, I'm happy to report that they do both have the wonderful caramel voice and English diction, delivering the thoughtfully written material, that makes it a pleasurable listen!
Prof Matthiessen would have regarded this video as a disgrace
U.S. expatriate watching from Holland. I only just found your Facebook page and rushed here to catch the broadcast. Thanks to all for your efforts on behalf of our country. From this side of the ocean it looks extremely disturbing back home and it's scary as hell. I can't bear to think about the danger my kids and their kids and grandkids might have to face if we fail to defeat these evil men. Two of my grandkids are members of the LGBTQ+ community and I'm especially terrified for them. So thankful that there are more of us than there are of "them" and that we can prevail if we all vote and follow through to ensure everyone's votes are counted.
💯! 👊💙
These gay guys have wild ideas about things
I thank this queer cooperative for creating this illuminating production on the issue of Palestine. Those who, like the Israeli far right, theocrats and unabashed zionists, are capable of such brutality to an entirely innocent people will in time turn their hatred, enmity and brutality on other minorities whom will also be used as scapegoats. Gay men and women who might flaunt their apparent freedoms on Tel Aviv beaches today will tomorrow suffer similar depradations and oppression which for 76 years has been meted out to the Palestinians. As a black man I know that I must stand with all those who are or can be othered simply for being not being a member of the dominant group.
HELLO JAMES, ALWAYS WONDERFUL TO HEAR YOU FLAP & BLAB! love, laura
Just finished listening to this via Audible. JVB does an amazing job of bringing this very well written and engaging narrative to life.
🤟
Hi there, I saw your UA-cam [ Bureau of General Services-Queer Division ] channel video, You have uploaded many beautiful videos. But your video doesn't get views and subscriptions, This is because your title, keyword, tag, and thumbnail are not properly SEO, so your video is not getting views and subscribers. if you fix them you will get better results. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks and Regards, Mahmud
I got my (pre-ordered) copy two weeks before the official release on Amazon. It's good, but I have to admit, when I reached the chapter about the Disney deal, I had to out it down for a bit, since I knew what was coming next. I'm glad I finished.
Finally!! Have been waiting for this for such a long time <3
Congratulations on your great book launch!
CO, it's Raquel. Watching here since I missed it. Congrats again. xo

Thank you for this!
This is powerful stuff. I applaud your work.
Thanks so much!
👏👏👏
This was great! The book is moving, incredibly powerful, and lingers long after the last sentence ends. In the reviews I haven't read as much as I expected about how deeply authentic the protagonist Trey experiences the staggering horror that unfolded in the '80s as AIDS unleashed its wrath. More than anything else, this book is essential reading for anyone who will benefit from understanding the absolute nightmare of AIDS and brings greater awareness and appreciation to the countless people who dedicated every ounce of their being to help the dying as the walls came crumbling down around them. I lived through those years at the same age as Trey in and around the city and it permanently altered an entire generation of gay men, or what's left of us, as well as all the allies like Angie. What a gorgeous book, I truly hope it's the first of many as we continue following Trey on his journey into adulthood. Sequel, please!
This is a great collection of artistst! But the sound seems to drop out in the middle, around the 48 min mark, is there any way to fix it? Thanks!
The book was spot on ! Richard Boch this brings the late 70's and 80s back with facts.I miss the 80's save the robots . I want to go back asap!!!💔💔💔♥️♥️😎😎
Coincidently I listened into this reading / interview and talk on the anniversary of Barbara Gittings birthday 📚 July 31
