Had an interesting issue. Towed my Outpost to a higher orbit to escape the debris field, and the damn thing vanished. I'm presently stuck having to raid other outposts just to process resources and keep my ship powered. Home station defaults to my previously detached CQM. Cant. Find. Outpost. Anywhere.

So i followed your guide, made my custom orbit slightly bigger because paranoid, left station went out exploring in ship, came back like 2 hours later, already raided, no distress beacon activated, i really can't understand how someone managed to find me in less then two hours in a huge custom orbit when there is at max 12 players on the server? Can anyone explain how?

On the mule in the cargo bay are 2 areas that have fire hazards. Both of the breaches have fires if the bay is pressurized enough for them to burn. The fire will flare up if your too close and kill you.

Before I leave the station I refine all the resources I can find and unload the canisters as well. Then I fill my jetpack and welder. 80 hydrogen is enough to fix the mule and have some left over for the inevitable damage from time.

Can I dock the airlock and jump with both,lifeboat and airlock,or only works with one module at a time?

Hey, When using the Tool, hit key 2 or @ to stash it and quick equip it. It's really useful.

the scanner brings it a Big Radius in this patch, any Idea to make it "hidden" or does as a person hope on making a 'olycptyical rotation around a moon on the outside ? x'P '(eng is my 4th lang.. Major in Polish, Swedish, Spanish And German ^^, I also study Japanese and French now.)

Such a great guide! Can't wait for more episodes from your Panic update series:) Would be super cool if you can do a guide on mining as warping to all these places in the beginning is super tedious

They should have a separate mode for people who just started out, cause I feel like this can overwhelm new players and/or a repair drone that goes around repairing the station it's in (can be relocated and of course should use up batteries :P)

Is this video still true? I did that and had to restart a new character and saw my old base orbiting the planet.

How is it that you had a weapon in your starting outpost? I have never seen that happen before. Is that a server setting or random?

I was in the other end of this. Yup I knew he was coming and started perpetrations. The plan was to disable his ship and take a vantage point. I managed to attach to the ship while he was moving in for a dock however since the ship was moving to fast I was unable to stop him in time. Very good pilot in an aggressive power dock maneuver. Despite him being able to complete the dock I pull his parts anyway then head back to the cargo Bay. Once inside I closer the bay and go with plan b. Leave the cargo Bay depressurized and wait for him to come dowbl. Once he depressurizes the elevator he'll be trapped with me. I'll start chucking nades when the door opens. I check inventory to find out that all the grenades for left in the drawer upstairs. Meanwhile I can here grenades cooking of in the hallway. Then cockpit. Then warp room. I quickly check the cargo Bay to see if there is anything around that can help me. Nothing. OK now I'm in last stand situation. I had been searching the entire system for that illusive railgun since that patch released to no avail and figured this was the last day before the next patch there is no way he'll have one. I check my rifle and ammo. I got 60 rounds at the ready. I can now hear the elevator coming down. I draw my weapon and get ready. I can now see his weapon glitch in through the wall. I think to my self this is not going to end well. The door opens and bullets start flying in an exchange of gunfire. This was epic.

Why aren't you stripping the parts from the crew quarters and airlock module such as servos etc?

My favorite part of this video is still that the tooltips are popping up throughout this boarding. "Inspect the ships power supply system! Activate the ships fusion reactor, capacitor, and solar panels!" LOL

Very helpful, however just a bit of advice. Your mic is recording sound from all directions, and then playing it back like that, making it feel as if you are moving around my head when talking which is quite nauseating. Great tutorial though! :)
