💖Let's talk new years resolutions and goals!! 💖
Oh hiii!
This year I will be turning 30, so I feel pressure to make this year count!! I also grew up painfully shy, and have been working my way out of that but still have some lingering anxieties. Here are my goals for this year - let me know what yours are!!
2025 Resolution: Become the woman I want to be
Goals:
Career / Personal Development-
1. Do 1 new thing each month - things that push me out of my comfort zone - examples are zip lining, hot air balloon ride, going live, networking events, etc. if you're curious of more ideas let me know I'd love to share my ideas
2. Stick to my AM/PM routines - use app (iOS Habit Tracker by Davetech) to track progress and give satisfaction of checking things off - establish an incentive for following through
3. Practice positive thoughts - ANTs and cognitive distortions are SOOO last year :P
Social-
1. Initiate plans and convos with friends - ensure my friends that I'm interested and value them
2. Social anxiety fear ladder - list things in order of easier to harder and work your way up to the hard things - exposure therapy
Health & Wellness-
1. Get 30 minutes of exercise a day - can be a walk, dancing, HIIT, etc.
2. Drink 64 oz of water a day - I survive on iced coffee and root beer and it's a problem lol
3. Correct posture - catching myself and doing stretches and workouts that help w/ posture
Financial-
1. Pay off all debt including car loan - not gonna be an easy one but it's posssssible... lowers monthly payments and allows me to start (yes start...) investing in retirement
2. Save up an emergency fund - prevent myself from relying on credit if something comes up
3. Start investing in retirement - if I can/as I can
Creative-
1. Post consistently on UA-cam - weekly ideally
2. Post consistently on IG - work up to 3x a week - get back into the creative process and get over the awkward hurdle of starting to post again (for whatever reason I'm self conscious about it lol)
