Fall (back) in love...[an experiment in AI filmmaking].

I spent the last two weeks crash learning how to rudimentarily make an AI film using AI to "increase the potential for the good" (thank you Bonnitta Roy for that phrase;). Everything in the video (except for the script which I wrote) is AI generated...which still entirely requires creativity and imagination on behalf of the creator. *Help me make more films!* Support this channel: www.patreon.c...

EP.10 Sophy Banks: What Makes a Healthy Human Culture?
I remember about a year ago, hearing your voice saying "the end of the world as we know it is not the end of the world full stop". While it may be that many imagine a Hollywood version of the end of the world, but for me, who heard you on Nate Hagens' Great Simplification, it brought a sense of meaning and an orientation to the slow motion crumbling in which we live. It resonated a heart understanding that leads me where it will. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to leave what has a small chance of becoming good ruins.
Soul satisfying! thank you.
Thank you for this conversation - so complete 🌷
18:27 something happened on the way to heaven - love your words Bayo!
This was incredible. Please keep sharing this kind of depth, such an important contrast to all the shallows on UA-cam ✨🙏
Thanks for saying so. Inspires and encourages me to do just that!!!
You’ve offered such a beautiful interview here and your willingness to remain unseen and unheard was a great gift. I wish you the best!!
Thanks so much. And well haha I can't afford to be seen and heard...would need another camera + mic and camera person. As it is I can do it all as a one-person gig. And I prefer to be invisible anyway. My service is holding the space in a good way and sprinkling some fairy dust in the editing;-)
Thank you Joanna. We need your wisdom, encouragement and open heart in these times.
What a blessing to us she is!
Amazing film! I will be revisiting. So inspiring. Thank you! ❤
Coming back to this now (after about a year), it feels to me one of the most integrous processual articulations of this incredible, scary AF and deeply uncertain context we find ourselves in. Thank you Jonathan.
If we solve nuclear fusion that would just accelerate the metacrisis. Boundless energy without a fundamental shift in our values how we view our relationship with the planet and ecology would turbocharge our consumption and destruction of the natural world.
Beautiful, wise, inspiring - thank you Dougald and Katie
You speak with a rare clarity that cuts through the noise.
This is the best interview with Francis Weller that I've yet found. The clarity of expression of the meaning and purpose of his work here is superb.
Good video. Thank you.
Brilliant. Thank you.
Elegant
The role of the storyteller has never been so beautifully described. Post modernity, storytellers will weave new narratives that will allow lives to rebuild meaning, beauty and joy.
Very well said❤
Words and feeling perfect. Thank you now.
Thank you for taking the trouble to make a version without the music 😁
Can you believe this woman is 95 and still she is fighting for our planet. I just learned of her today. Wow. Great filming.😊
This is fantastic. Thank you.
Incredibly wise and beautiful! Thanks a lot dear Dougald!
Brilliant! So much deep wisdom here... much gratitude for this.
Thank you Katie & Dougald - this is such an important piece. I especially appreciate how Dougald makes visible the nuance required to navigate these pathways so that we deepen our connection with life. Too often we inadvertently get trapped into repeating the existing culture, whilst earnestly believing we are creating the regenerative future we long for, - precisely because we miss what Dougsld so articulately points to. I’m grateful for the ability to share with others
thanks Clare! Agreed!!!! Xo
This is a great summary of Dougald's learning ....
Thanks for the feedback!
@@inthemaking412 I disagree, keep the music. Thank you so much for this gift from the ruins.
@@ivanidso9491 LOL choosing music etc. is like setting the room temperature for 1,000 people. For some too cold, for some too hot, for some just right. This was just for the transitions and I personally like it too and have gotten that feedback elsewhere also (thus the room temp analogy). I will upload a version without the music. UA-cam doesn't allow videos to be replaced in a way that preserves the URL (shake fists at "the sky") so happy to just have a second version co-exist for those who like the room to be cooler;-)
@@inthemaking412 The room temperature was just right for me!🥰
I went ahead and did a separate upload of the video sans music. Feel free to share this link if you wish. ua-cam.com/video/z271gObfdLc/v-deo.html
Beautiful
Thank you so much, happy to have listened with great attention to Mrs. Macy’s delightful thoughts and words chosen with which she articulated every single one of them. Namasté ❤
gorgeous Katie!!
Thanks Danielle <3
Nice Katie!!!!!
I hate this so much. AI creeps the bejeezus out of me!
This speaks to my heart. Bravo !
What AI filmmaking tech do you use?
My stack for this was Midjourney, Photoshop, Runway, Elevenlabs, Soundraw and edited in Premiere!
I love this so much!!! Great job! ❤
Love the message! To be honest, the AI visuals are more like a commercial, machine-like.. versus the aliveness of your beautiful films of nature, etc.
I agree. This was an experiment and I intentionally went with the Pixar style thinking it would be more forgiving as I learn. Some incredible cinematic, photorealistic results can be achieved...which is amazing and I do imagine using it for Broll in the future.
Beautiful! ❤
The script was the best part! Well done!
Mind-blowing, heart-moving.
You conveyed something profound very eloquently and articulately. Thank you.
So beautiful 😍
Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant work, Katie.
Superb. Further inspiration to get the six part film project "Ever Present" written and produced ( based on Gebser's and Jeremy's work).
oh my lord, sublime. to be an artist in this time is a blessing and a risk. thank you for your work.
So much revisioning and inspiration! More should see.
Very well done, Katie, as usual. I continue to appreciate the blend of your presenter's conceptual framework/perspective and the weave of your visuals of nature. Thank you for these woven layered learning opportunities in these divisive times. To be continued... Be Well!
Second view and still like
First view and like
So good, thank you, glad I found this today.
What I needed today thank you... hoping/dooming you into getting more views for your beautiful work!
