Interesting video. Another tip is to try and get to know the owners as some of them don’t mind talking about their cars. You can get advanced heads up info as to when and where they will be. I’ve met some really nice spotters over the years, peppered with a few idiots unfortunately, but generally the spotting community in London is a nice place to be.

I suggest you do some better research and preparation if you are going to quote specifications. The wheel size from Jaguar is a 20-inch with staggered fitment front to rear. The vehicle weight is UNDER 2 tonne at 1,987 kgs (4,380 lbs). I stopped watching after these two errors.

Hello ! Is that a Nismo ? Or Nismo conversion ? I own a 40th anniversary edition 370z with 50k miles and I’m interested in converting it to a Nismo body kit. However, it’s a bit pricey and they will charge 20% if I return the kit. I’m hesitant in purchasing the kit but it looks like it fits well.

I couldn't care less at the time if people thought it was an "old mans car". It was my Jaguar and that was all that mattered. When I was a 8yrs old my dad bought a 420G, and that car set me as a Jaguar fan for life. Sapphire blue is a great colour. The headling has sagged and its been stuck back up using interior door trim "fir tree clips". Jaguar headling's were made initially by Pressed Felts in Colne, Lancashire, it became, John Cotton also in Colne, Lancashire, it was bought out by Lear Corporation. Blame the supplier everyone, not Jaguar! Chroming the wheels, they might look great or too much? You need to pass your driving test young man, the Jag will detriorate if its only started and moved around a yard, it needs to be driven. I have recently bought a Jaguar XJ8 which has suffered as a result of being stood. I will repair it and us it. In 1999, when Ford bought Jaguar they did a number of things. Improved manufacturing methods, parts availability, engineering resources and lets face it, improved reliability. Without Ford, Jaguar may not have survived? Now, Jaguar as you know is owned by TATA Motors of India and have joint venture factory making Jaguar Land Rover products in China.

The XJ is so long it spills over both ends of a parking space.

I bought mine because I can fit a body in the boot. Always carry a roll of duct tape for such occasions.

I heard they start getting hot and can overheat? Heard the 2012 and up did some modifications to fix that
