I prefer 2nd time around by far, guessing that would be flat picking. Sure sounds better both times to me.

The first is hybrid picking and there is a very noticeable difference. It just sounds wrong.

Some folks get so wrapped around the axel when it comes to "what technique for which genre of music". At the end of the day, if it sounds good, how you made the music doesn't matter.

My tin ear couldn't tell the difference, but I'm glad the algorithm showed me this. Subscribed!

I’m far from an expert, hardly not a beginner; I think it really comes down to your goal, a finger will have a warmer sound than a pick so use what sounds better to you Personally I fingerpick most things

Nicely done! Though you played those double stops near the end right, the tab should show 1/2 step bends.

Awesome. On version 2 when do the piano part instead of going clear up to the 2nd fret play g on 6 and d on 7. Such a fast song that should help.
