BMW X5 E70 M57 Alternator Replacement on Diesel

DIY alternator change on E70 with diesel M57 engine. Had a problem with alternator occasionally not recharging the battery. Used a cigarette lighter voltmeter to monitor it & Found that every couple of days alternator would not make enough voltage. So I replaced it. No problems since installing new alt.
LOUD SQUEAL on BMW E90 with N55 engine. Valve Cover Replacement.

Replacement of the valve cover on a BMW N55 engine in an E90. Thought it was the serpentine belt, the tensioner, or the idler pulleys. Ended up being the PCV, positive crankcase ventilation valve. That thing was squealing like a stuck pig! 🐷💥
