A bald man in Japan. What more is there to say?
Watching fireworks at the top of a Japanese mountain
I just needed to find the energy to finish editing this one so here it is. Had a lovely time at the top of Lake Haruna. Definitely recommend (but it is only before Christmas so maybe next year!)

Hunting for Japanese Autumn

Welcome all to the latest vlog. Lost count a while ago. This time I go to a zoo and on a little hunt for a piece of Autumn before it disappears to the cold. Oh, and I visit a zoo I guess. #japan #vlog #japanjourney #japantravelvlog #japanesefood #japaneseculture
Settling into life in Japan

Hello folks, time for another video. This time we discuss how life is starting to feel more normal in Japan. We go on a little shopping trip and then we go find another temple, because apparently I cannot resist. #japan #japantravelvlog #vlog #nature #japanjourney #japanlife

Can I climb a Japanese mountain?

I made a number of mistakes this time in my attempt to climb a Japanese mountain. It has become abundantly clear that I was not built for this kind of forethought and planning. I strongly recommend that you go out there onto the internet and look into this more than me. #japan #mountains #hiking #japanlife #vlog #adventure #climbing #views
Going to a Japanese Festival
Переглядів 1733 місяці тому
A few weeks ago it was our local festival which was truly an experience. But it wasn't quite the same as the larger festivals that go on in Japan so this time we're going to Takasaki - the closest city to my village of Nanmoku that has a large scale festival. #japan #japanesefestival #festival #japanlife #vlog #adventure
Convenience in Japan + SNACKS

Hello all, Please do enjoy my video today which is mostly me complaining or eating a butt load of food. This was one of the videos people wanted to see before I came out here so it was good fun putting it together but I will hold off on ever becoming a food critic.

Another long one this week with a short adventure across the Nagano and then up to Haruna Shrine and Lake Haruna. Wear sun cream out there folks as it is rather warm. Trying to make the most of the weekends that I have while I can before the inevitable truck of life hits me.

Back to shorter videos today - discussing our local festival out here in the Japanese countryside. In a village with an ever declining population it is not known for how long this tradition will last. And while people return to the village to celebrate this festival few still live here to maintain its memory once the reason to return is lost. #japan #japanesefestival #festival #japanlife #vlog ...

A bit of a long one today folks as there was so much that happened in my first week in Japan - so there's a lot to tell. This doesn't even cover half of it. Please do give it a watch; the next one will probably be more specific and a lot shorter! #japan #jetprogramms #japanlife #vlog #adventure #japanliving
