No Chargers? Let's Debunk the Myth
Join us as we embark on an exciting road trip from Slagelse, Denmark, to Szczecin, Poland, in our electric vehicle. Contrary to popular belief, EV road trips are not as daunting as they seem. We start our journey early in the morning, making multiple stops along the way to charge our car and grab some refreshments. We encounter various charging stations, including those from Tesla, Ionity, and Uno-X, and discover how seamless it can be to travel long distances in an EV. Along the way, we share tips on navigating the German Autobahn, the challenges of charging in unfamiliar locations, and the nuances of using EV navigation apps. Our journey is filled with unexpected moments, insightful tips, and a lot of fun. Will we reach our destination without any hitches? Watch to find out!

    What did he say to insult the king?

    • @TheLocalGlobeTrotter
      @TheLocalGlobeTrotter Місяць тому

      Sorry about the looong reply time i have been looking all over and the account of what he did is difficult to find out. But here it is, In 1656, he wrote a letter to his lover Sophie Abelsdatter, a maidservant at Rantzausholm. In the letter, he mentioned how Queen Sophie Amalie was intimate with her lackeys. Through Kai Lykke's intervention, Sophie Abelsdatter married his bailiff at Rantzausholm - Peter Børting. Peter Børting became aware of the letter. On May 1, 1661, Kai Lykke dismissed him as bailiff due to irregularities in the accounting books. Peter Børting informed the king about the letter and its contents. Kai Lykke confessed his wrongdoing and reached a settlement: he was to pay 100,000 rigsdaler. A few months later, Kai Lykke fled to Scania as he couldn't pay, and the king initiated a lawsuit that found him guilty of lèse-majesté and stripped him of "honor, life, and property." Since he had fled and the sentence could not be carried out, a lifelike effigy was made, which in a mock execution had its hand and head cut off. Lykke's coat of arms was destroyed. All of Kai Lykke's estates and wealth were confiscated by the king.

    Your English is great. Yes you have an accent but your English is still very clear. Everyone can understand what you’re saying. I don’t see a problem with having a slight accent. Danish people always leave passive aggressive comments on UA-camrs’ videos whether they’re trying to speak Danish or English, they’re always criticizing the accent as if their accents were flawless when speaking English. Bunch of moronic, pedantic hypocrites.
