Forgive me for not knowing, but who played the flamenco-ish guitar on all(?) the Shpongle albums? If it was YOU, Simon, go pick it up NOW for me, and lay down some of those fabulously phrygian-dominant-mode riffs for me....... Pretty PLEEAZZZZE?!!!

This curious chap, and his band of other-dimensional, paradigm-shifting, techno-meistros, SHPONGLE, are solely responsible for inspiring me, a 62 yr old, alternate, 'indi', but primarily taditional-instrument-made music connoisseur, to fall under the spell, and into the 'en-trancement' of well-constructed electronica!! I have developed an inexplicable, instinctive and ineffable urge to dance like one possessed, which has even led to being thrown a recently released CD, made by the performers at a certain techno-fest, as an award for most "entertainingly eccentric" dancer of the evening! Much gratitude & respect Simon! I blame you for my later-life electronic music obsession. (Especially when 'real' instuments are included) Its all your fault, you bugga!!!!! Ahhhghrrr!!!!! Watching this just makes me realise how time has passed .I used to hang around with Simon in his early days of Twisted records in Chelsea London in 1994ish some great parties .It was the birth of something we could never imagine Along with the other Simon in the office,James, Dom ,George,Gus,Jack, Dickster,Boing, Tristan Juju ,Cris Dekker,Yas ,Lol,Crisbo,Grantly,Sam,Charlie,Mark Allen, Chris Blue My brother and many others that I mean no disrespect by not mentioning ❤️🙏❤️🙏.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Simon Posford is a modern day Merlin! Are you Shpongled? And Tales of the Inexpressible were albums that altered the course of my entire life. I'm listening to these tracks again with new appreciation and all the insight I've gained (both in music and life) over the years since they were released. All the albums are just so good, I can't pick a favorite.
