    Yall mfs keep coming up with the goofiest fucking ways to lift possible you pick up a barbell dumbbell cable or machine do an exercise 8 reps to failure and and put it down repeat that 3 times with 5 different excersises and your golden for that muscle it’s not hard

      @@slumpedmontyUnnecessary stability, if your goal is to just build your lats, doing this would limit your ability to put all your effort into them, but they can do whatever they want I guess. They’re probably trying to do something else anyway

    Actually the opposite of what you want to do. It's like the guy that piles 10 plates in each side of a leg press and comes back 6 inches. The full stretch is most important so in the leg press example he would use a max of 3 plates per side and stretch all the way down for a full lengthened range of motion while keeping tension on the muscle group and even pausing at the lengthened position. This here is worthless for strength or hypertrophy.

    It’s almost like you can do this with a pair of dumbbells, but actually better because you can get a more eccentric movement with the dumbbells instead of a bar. No matter how many chains you put on it.
