Sherick -- 737 Sim Test -- KJAC ZH406ST Laser Projectors
This video shows the latest adjustments to the Color/Contrast within P3dv5.4 using the Optoma ZH406ST Laser Projectors. These settings are close to what I am aiming for, although I may make another adjustment to the Warp/Blend settings.

Sherick 737 Sim Laser Projectors Testing
Переглядів 666Рік тому
This video shows a short test flight intended to test the re-installation of the Optoma ZH406ST Laser Projectors. The graphics input is via an RTX-4090 4K resolution feeding three (3) of the laser projectors 4K information. The projectors down-scale the data to display 1080p I had previously tested native 4k400STx projectors, but the color and contrast did produce what I wanted. So, it's back t...

Sherick Test Flight KSBA to KBUR May 13th 2023

This video is shows a test flight in my full-scale 737-800 Sim. This particular flight is to test scenery changes to the Sim. I am using Sim-Avionics for the 737 Avionics model, and P3D v5.3 for the Sim software. I was having issues with ORBX TrueEarth So. California scenery causing "freezes" during the flight.

Cockpit Flow/Checklists are somewhat casual, as the main intent was to show the Flight Deck and Motion Platform operation.

incredible
The Optoma ZH406ST is a Full HD 1080p Laser Projector !!! Not 4K !?!?!
Vente a volar en mis vuelos on line en directo. Son salvajes!!! Te espero en mi canal del Comandante King, volando en nuestra "Gacela voladora"
Thank you!
That whole setup is most likely $250k
15 grand amazing! I bet you could sell the whole setup for 80 am I wrong? Those race Sims cost 30 grand some of them this is way more impressive. Excellent work.
You mentioned MSFS in your video. Have you been able to remove the virtual cockpit view to work with you rig?
This is incredible. A dream of mine to build something like this. I hope you can help guide me someday in the future when I start my own build.
I m interested to purchase this
wow that was awesome,
The projectors are Optoma 406ST with 1080p native resolution. They are capable of accepting 4k data, who’s is downscaled to 1080p. Mike
Are these projectors 4k
I guess you are using cylinder screen.
Fabulous setup!
Your instrumentation is crystal clear too! Wow
8k fog looks better..... :)
Great
What kind of money goes into this kind of thing. My gosh!
where are the projectors (how many?) and what are they projecting on (I it a curved screen?) to have this seemless image out of the windows of the cockpit. This is a crazy setup. Amazing! love the trim wheels spinning and everything.
I've always wanted to have one of these unfortunately my garage isn't big enough. I spent time at flight safety using their full motion gulfstream sims and it was amazing
Can you please come to my home in Ohio and build this?
I think his setup is probably $50-75k
@@kristophermiller6160if that is all I’ll take one. My guess would be into the 6 figures. FDS is quality hardware.
Mike, what TQ are you running? I’ve not seen one where engine one and two oscillate independently- although I can only assume this is true to life. Thanks
By the way, nice sim and the visuals are great...
What is with the trim, that is not normal...
Nice bro which software are you using for the instruments ,?
This looks amazing in the first place but.......since when is a boeing equipped with a joystick? 😅
What hexapod software do you use?
Where did you buy that motor and actuator?
Very cool!
Awesome video... Sorry, but the constant rattle of those trim adjusters is just plain annoying!!
Did you say this is a budget simulator…? What you mean by that…? Can you quantify?
I feel like this is a stupid question but is there force feedback on the yoke?
Can’t believe what Im seeing… watched the video 2 times cause I still cannot believe this is not vr. Wow sir … no words to explain the amount of dedication and love you have for your rig.
Subscribed, hope you upload more frequently.
Hi there, Great channel! I have watched many of your tests throughout the years! I was wondering if you might consider posting a video about how your projectors are mounted to the cockpit. I saw someone else's home cockpit setup where the builder was lamenting that his projectors constantly got out of alignment due to ambient temperature changes, and I was thinking that if they're that sensitive, how does one mount projectors so securely on a motion rig so that they don't get out of alignment? Thank you for your consideration!
Do you use any custom scenery or just plain P3D?
Amazing videos, wish I can come see your setup someday, Mike I’m very proud of you, you’ve come a long way but it was all worth it, perfect, I wish I had your patience and knowledge.
that trim wheel is wildin
Amazing visuals!!! I am also looking into building a similar kind of setup and I'm currently trying to figure on how I could go about building the 6DOF motion platform. If you don't mind , kindly advise me on the components you used specifically the series of the Grove gear you used?
Love watching your videos. You might be interested to know there is a new software interface called device interface manager (DIM) under development which connects fds equipment with fs2020. That could really showcase scenery with your laser projectors. I have the same fds cockpit and a separate single seat 6DOF motion sim. Aspire to putting my cockpit on a platform like you have. Thx for the video
Welcome back! Glad to see the comment section open again. Man these projectors looks great. I’m still upset with myself for not getting the projectors you have now. I will be upgrading to these for sure. Thanks for sharing yet another video.
Verry nice
Looks fantastic Mike. I am sure the new projectors will be even that much nicer.
Dream scope.
a great work .... still thinking of you about yokes!lol! I know the big project day after day get's very hard! I started mine on 2012 and still working on that. I can understand great mate!
Hello sir I working on the same project I would like to know where you bought your 6dof platform
How much does your build cost
Hello Sir, I am working on a similar project and I am curious if you have any notes from this one. I am a senior Temple University Engineering student. If you could, please reach out to me - tup02058@temple.edu Thank you in advance
hello, I'm a student and I plan to make a driving simulator much like this one with 6dof and with geared motors. I would like to know the reference of the motors that you use please, that would help me a lot.
Halfway through the video I was still thinking this is an actual professional simulator, and only looking at the comments made me realize this is a private build. Just wow. Impressive on all levels.
You can actually go to the website that sells the motion platform and they also sell the enclosures. VERY similar to what is actually a certified sim
I expected information on your projectors, set and what to buy. I didn't find anything useful in this video except some showing off maybe????
