Best way to explore a city is always "getting lost" , Gothenburg is a old workers town concentrated around the harbour and shipyards..and have a pretty laid-back vibe. One tip if u feel lonely..ask ppl for directions and u can(if u lucky) get a free guide showing u the town, many Swedes love to show and are proud over their place and talk english and see their city thru a tourist eyes ...about 90% of the Swedes talk English =)

What I found with solo travelling is that one has such insane amount of spare time over. Instead of waiting for everyone to gather up and get going one just gets going and that's it. So it's absolutely a way to travel if one wants to see a lot in a short amount of time. I usually do some prep-work ahead of time and have locations stored on a google map for that city and then I see what places I'm currently near. Nice video!
