Maine looks cool and sounds great but I lived there as a teen until I was 23. It's a hard place to live very cold,people are not always welcome to new people. Things are more expensive there too. I have lived in Ohio for over 20 years and I raised my kids here and now I'm a grandma of both boys. If your born in Maine u adapted to it guess but to be a new person or flatlander is what they call out of state person. I do miss the nature part of Maine and the ocean .

Man I live in Ardmore Oklahoma. I'm from Cincinnati Ohio and I really despise this town. It's half hour from the Gainesville Texas border or Oklahoma. The world's largest casino is here 20 min up the road. Winstar world casino and resort is the only thing here anyone would be familiar with. But I really don't want this to be my last stop and I really struggle here to take care of the family. Of course being on workman's comp doesn't help and nor does the Biden/Harris administration. But I'm doing some early researching to see where I wanna start over with the family sooner or later and I'm living the looks of Utah so far. Republican state, medical marijuana, decent cost of living, beautiful sceneries and etc. I'm trying to figure out which town or city would be the one. Any thoughts on where in utah?
