Some umbrella terms here are too close to one another. Making the whole thing rather confusing for beginners. For example, deep melodic techno with melodic techno, bunker techno too close to minimal techno, schranz close to big room techno ( add some speed on bpm); and hardcore, speedcore and even industrial core very similar. And this is why people call techno to anything and everything these days because there are so many labels. Good that this video is trying to clarify things. These days a different bpm for what can be essentially the same style can result in a new sub-genre.

I think there are better examples of deep techno and tribal out there. I wouldn't include trance techno in a techno subgenre. It's not close to techno. Ghetto Tek is not oldshcool tech house. Happy hardcore is not techno. It's hardcore. Just happy. Like listening to hardcore doesn't mean I'm listening to techno ... Hard style is hard style. You can't take a genre and just slap it into another genre. I feel like u needed to make a long list. Overall I guess not bad for a list. Like break core is a different genre. Not techno at all. Man. The more I listen and watch this ... The more I shake my head. Where is the swedish techno?
