The "historic" downtown area is rundown and dirty, streets filled with litter. The city government cancelled Friday Fest for absolutely no reason. US 1 through the city looks like Detroit, West Melbourne doesn't even have a downtown area, and Palm Bay is nothing but miles of endless suburbs.

If you’re interested in living a relatively safe and mundane existence and sweat bullets for 5/12 months of the year enjoy horrible food and people who can’t drive insanely high auto and home insurance and an endless supply of elderly people some whom have a stick up their bum car blinkers don’t exist here oh yea and if you like flooding after every rain Melbourne Florida is definitely for you . All that being said I’ve been here 6 years and I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon . I love the beach being right across the street from my house and the weather in the fall and winter . Also DeKine Diego’s had the best burritos in the county of Brevard 😎

We like it here. If a person who lives here doesn’t, Titusville is a place one can afford to leave. meaning, if you’re mortgage is lower because housing prices are lower than South FL/Orlando, save your money and pack your bags for the weekend. you’ll return home to all the things mentioned in the vid, with less traffic and more quiet. I’ve lived in places where to live near a body of water, you’d have to be almost rich (hello to my Los Angeles and Boston pals!).

Hi. What can you say about tap water quality? Brevard County has poor water quality and high levels of hazardous chemicals due to soil and water contamination from Patrick Air Force Base. An abnormally high incidence of cancer was discovered in the area.

I have heard of "assessment insurance. " Is this a good thing to have if you own a condo? If you own 2 or more, would one policy cover 2 or more condos? Who offers it?

Space Coast will never get hit with a category 4 hurricane because NASA has the ability to change the Windstream in that area.

Don't wear cotton in extreme heat. Silk or satin or spandex or rayon material will be more breathable.

I love Titusville I wish I had moved here years ago. Was in Orlando most of my life but it has gotten to crowed and traffic is horrible. I am so comfortable living here very relaxing and quiet town.

The hospital is horrific. My mother and father lived there and would not go to Jess Parrish. We call it just perished. My father passed away there! The schools lack teachers. Please do your homework before you move there.

The homeless is horrible there I live approximately 30 minutes away and my dad had a car lot there for 35 years but it’s gone downhill. Do not move here.

We have not secured employment yet but have the financial means to pay for anshort term rental up front. We have some employment leads but from what i understand, we need proof of employment prior to renting. Do you know of any options that may be available for our situation? I am.planning to m9ve back to Fl after relocating to Denver for 14 years. I need an affordable apartment but some areas I visited in Palm Bay were like pretty painted slums. Inside the apartment it was a nightmare. Can you suggest any apts between Vero and Palm Bay that are nice and in a safe neighborhood. I think I am eligible for Restricted income apts. Can you please help me or suggest someone. I am looking to strat renting on Oct. 1. 2024. Any thing you can recommend will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Linda

I worked year round for 5 years outside and drove trucks without a/c in central and southeast florida . I'm sure it's alot more fun if you don't need to work outside and I am considering retiring there.

There is no dating here and the women are extremely self-absorbed and Flaky! Traffic is horrible!

I'm not even sure that I'm going to have the money to buy a house, but I might soon. I never thought much about moving to Palm Bay, but the old, non-HOA house I'm looking at, though not directly on the water, has a small but pretty water view of Turkey Creek, and is close enough to the Indian River to have wonderful ocean breezes, just like we had when I was a child in Eau Gallie, at about the same distance from the river. When I saw this house online, it had just been sold, for about one half of the price the house flippers are asking now (and some of their "improvements" have got to be reversed!). But it has a big yard for gardening, maybe a pool, someday, and a few, really nice trees. It is far from perfect, but I'm sold.

I want to congratulate you for making a video with so much pertinent and CORRECT information. So many people put out videos with misleading information about the FL insurance market but you were spot on.
