I like to share the adventure of upper peninsula Michigan through my channel vlog. I have been living 30 years in U.P and now my kids grown up that able to explore freely Upper Peninsula, MI. Keweenaw peninsula is called God's country of Mother of nature. I would love to share of pure Michigan of Hike Trail, Mines, Lake Superior, Historic places, Waterfalls.... I put additional information of trail on video and my goal is inspire and motivate and creative of life.

Black River Scenic Byway: 5 Waterfalls/ Upper Peninsula Michigan
Hike to Black River National Scenic Byway Rainbow Falls - The last and biggest in the series of waterfalls along the Black River. The scenery is spectacular along your 1/2 mile walk to the waterfall.
The Black River Waterfalls Trails are located north of Bessemer in Michigan's Gogebic County. Along the Black River National Scenic By-Way, within the Ottawa. Potawatomi and Gorge are the most kid-friendly falls of the Black River bunch, as the others require longer hikes that include steep staircases.

BEAUTIFUL walk....if you like Thimbleberries, take some home and plant them. They are supposed to grow like weeds and are constantly making more....you could have the back yard as a patch!

I took a physical geography class back in 1969, but I have some hazy memory of hearing about similar rock formations being common in our Western States. I think they are created when a vein of igneous rock remains after softer materials erode away. Any Geologists out there who can confirm or correct?
@@paulmoore7064 there is one UA-camr research this rock formation and reached out geologist and have very good interpretation in her video. Her channel is Alexis Dahl. Video of “What made This Giant Wall” Would this information help you?

Well, I now wish I had seen this wall during my days at MTU. I had been to Lake Linden numerous times; either on foot, or on my salvaged Schwinn bike, or in my 1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, & the last car I drove in the UP before leaving: 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo nick named "Rusty Chevrolet", after the song by Da Youpers.
I like that name 😊 I wish that maybe someday you could get to see it.💕🌳🌳🌳
