Our children graduate from theoretical universities and thereafter are jobless and diamonds and golds as raw materials go to the west to create jobs for their western counterparts who see us as stupid and poor. Wake up Africa. Everything we have must give us wealth even dancing

got this sy-1000 and I'm not very impressed with it, it sits on the floor nearly unused? looking like the gr-55 will be reconnected as it has much the same sounds and more useful instruments, the 55 is able/can control external vst synthesisers so why bother with this white elephant device..? that was my ponderings on it the con sy-1000 is very laggy in the effects switching and that awful editor is very buggy feels like I've thrown £800? and more on something I didn't really need to have as the gr-55 was and is still ok-ish a right pain both devices are ... they're both ... not what I envisioned them to be ... disappointed is an understatement just pandering to my over large ego is the very realistic conclusion. I didn't know what I was intending to use or really do with these things from the start. yes it's a become a wall at the moment of where they need be used a subtle but hard look at where they can be best used as it seems they both can't carry the whole load of a tune structure without a shitload of programming neither can not be used straight out the box as was my initial thought. have slowly become more realistic as a lone strumming dingbat it's been all up hill learnings with information overloads everywhere you look to try learn the secret sauce ingredient of a nice mix or something and it's never-ending the slow slog always seemingly up-hill there's always something wrong and time wasted and what was the point or if there is one? Nice effort by the way (perfect and brassy) and may the force be with you always. as at this quite moment(6.57am) it has deserted me .. the force might just pop in the room an do a jam to get out of this mood flush the sleep toxins out my head. whats that old saying? keep it the music live! yeah start the day right...end of rant think I'll toss a coin ( a yes or no) to post this a cancel or comment...? an existentialist moment...
