This was the most awesome home that i have seen and has not been touch. the women in the picture is beautiful. I believe she was the teacher. I hope an pray that someone will get this home soon. It's to sweet to be let unintended.

Why do you spend all that money on tattoos? Did your mother not tell you to not draw on your skin? The money you spend on that drawing on your skin could have helped so many people who were starving. Makes no sense.

What's the story on this place

So are you just trespassing, sans permission? As with almost anything else unoccupied does not mean abandoned. Your lucky a few of the preppers I know have auto defense strategically positioned throughout. And if that lab is any indication they may have been into HE or worse you may be poking around an old low tech meth lab, the carcinogens last for years and saturate every thing with a high degree of dermal absorption and any dust disturbed, air born and inhaled is a recipe for cancer, hope you wore masks. PS. those books would have nothing to do with the manufacture of explosives, just saying.

I'm thinking there's been years of squatters living there, making most of the mess. The builders must have been a very hard-working happy family, but something tragic happened for them to abandon it all, and for the children to not want to see it again. Even if the couple died recently, imo something bad happened in that house.

Built during the cold war era maybe. Neat!

it's amazing how well stocked the place still is. wonder why the owners had to abandon it. lots of alcohol lol wtf i saw a bunch of retail hangers for retail walls in there... the guy had no need for those. hoarder for sure for some of this but def prepper material too

Just some guy who hated to see stuff thrown away. Partly organized, then towards the end just gave up. Nothing extraordinary, probably drove around on garbage day or collected at the dump.

That guy was obviously an amateur chemist I would not touch a thing in that basement.

Ya better watch out moving those chemical bottles, some acids and other chemicals can become EXTREMELY explosive when dried out & go off by a mere touch explosive enough to take the entire house down, & make mush out of you

There is a man named A.G Gaston down in Alabama. Very very notable man just like Perry Palmer. Both were intelligent and good businessmen and were very known during segregation. It's sad because his businesses downtown in Alabama have gone the same way, especially the famous hotel where MLK spoke. I never knew about Perry Palmer and I stay in SC.

Really makes you wonder what happened and why they left everything behind.

Just because a cellar is full of canned food doesn’t mean the owners were prepped. My grandmother had a cellar full of canned foods when I was growing up. She wasn’t a prepper. I have lots of family members that can food, but they’re definitely not preppers.

This place should be sold and restored ,it could be made beautiful.
