Thanks for making all these videos. The interviews are inspiring and I love the way the footage captures South Africa. I know most of the producers, but got to know a couple of new ones as well. Can’t wait to try this one, I haven’t found it in NL as yet. And yes, SA is the best, that’s why I bought a farm in the KZN Midlands, where I now grow regenerative vegetables with a couple of business partners.

Swartland rocks. I just got a bottle of 2015 Badenhorst wine from a very thoughtful business partner, which went down very nicely. Last week bought a bunch of 2020 Porseleinberg to add to my other years. SA wines are the bomb and highly unappreciated. Next week travelling to my veg farm in KZN, can’t wait.

Recently bought and tasted the 2015 Keermont Ampitheater - very difficult to find in US market and I had never heard of the Estate prior to finding this wine online with one of my US sources for wine. Great find. A little pricey as it is competing with very good quality Bordeaux wines but as an indication, I have gone back and bought another 9 bottles, 3 to enjoy immediately and 6 to cellar for another couple of years. This was the first release of this blended wine and from my research, it has been very well rated. I gave it a 3 hour decant and it was very smooth and well received by my guests.

Having the opportunity to experience the Blankbottle wines in my backyard is a phenomenal privilege, the most underrated wine brand in the country, if not the world. Amazing film.

It's so precious to see the real farmers that are giving each day of their life taking care of the soil and their grapes so we can have those beautiful wines. One bottle of 2017 and one of 2018 in my cellar... waiting the right time to be opened!

South African wines are majorly underrated and are my favourite by far. I am European and a big fan. Porseleinberg is difficult to come by in Europe. I managed to get my paws on a some 15 bottles of 2018 and half a dozen 2017. Drank one bottle of 2018 during xmas 2020, probably far to young, but I couldn’t resist. Keeping the rest in my cellar until they have matured a bit more. Can’t wait to see how they develop. You guys and gals in SA are lucky with a wine sector like that, but I must say that we are starting to get some very nice wines here in The Netherlands as well.
