We are looking to move from the US to the Rivera Maya area this was so helpful! How easy is the driving to get to this store? Also did they accept debit/credit cards? The shopping and driving makes me so anxious since I’ll have 3 kids with me and my Spanish is so bad and nonexistent haha!

Love your accent where in Europe are you originally from? Campbell's, Kellogg's, etc have been selling in Mexico for decades. There are also American brands that are owned by Mexican companies such is the case of Barilla. Many American products are not considered foreign by Mexicans after all Mexico is part of North America. This also happens in the States with Mexican brands. Just 2 years ago a popular sparkling water called "Topo chico" was sold to Coca cola co, this caused a huge protest all over Texas. Texans claim Topo Chico as theirs even though the product is originated and produced in Mexico. So for awhile some Texans tried to boycott Coca cola products in protest. So there you are, as a North American we claim as our products make in the region as whole.
