its really bad to miss 2 field goals under 30 yards. Boise St wouldnt have slipped into BCS championship game since Oregon/Alabama were both undefeated but Boise St didnt get much BCS respect at the time even though they had many wins

On top of the world. That may have been the most fun I've ever had at a game. That and '90 USC among a handful of others. Total insanity in that stadium. It was pretty much all downhill from here.. . . until last year.

How good was Washington the 2 years it beat Nebraska? In those 2 years, Nebraska was 18-5-1, with 2 Big 8 titles. The only other teams to beat Nebraska those years were #1 Miami and #3 Florida State- both in the Orange Bowl, and no more dominating than what UW did. In 1992, Nebraska beat #8 Colorado and #9 Kansas by a combined score of 101-14. U-dub fans should be proud of these teams.

That game kept them bowl eligible. Huskies got into a bowl game for the first time since 2002. So yeah this was a big deal against whomever. Go Dawgs!!!

This makes me cry. I love Boise State because they have always been the non-BCS Cinderella story. This was the best chance they had to make a run at the BCS Championship game, and it came down to two missed kicks. Heartbreaking, simply heartbreaking.

haha man thats so far from the truth uw admissions are all across the board. they have let in people with a 2.6 gpa recently. i know this for a fact and the only reason why they let her in was because she was a minority. And WSU wont admit you if have less than a 2.6

even though I'm a Trojan fan for life i have a lot of respect for the Huskies. besides this year you guys usually put up a pretty good game against the Trojans. Just give it 2-3 more years and i bet you guys could be big competitors in the PAC-12

Boise State didn't lose. Look at 2:20. ESPN gives Boise State 34 points which means that they did win. If the field goal kick missed then why would ESPN give Boise State 34 points. So stop saying that they lost because they didn't.
