I could never understand why they never do install simple French drains to prevent that situation, especially the ones that use the wooden retaining walls which should never be allowed to sit underwater & soak up all that moisture. Smh.

How did we get the water out? Being in the Mojave Desert it's usually dried out under there within a few weeks, but because of the moisture present it's almost it's own little eco-system under there with plants and vegetation you wouldn't expect to survive in the desert like a fern looking bush that was growing up through the side at one point.

how did you get rid of all the water? Did you use a pump?
