I wish the Greens were a viable party, but here's the problem from my pov. I was a former local Green leader. I ran candidates for local offices, but we had NO support from this organization (and I use that term loosely), nothing. Moreover, the party is a one trick pony. Had the party got behind Bernie in 2016 and 2020, they would not accept Bernie because of a stubborn belief that they can only vote Green. Same with Dennis Kucinich in 2004. Jill Stein, bless her heart, does not know how to speak to wqorking people, even while they have policies that would effectively help working people. The real problem is Grassroots work. If the Greens had been working on grassroots organization, funding local campaigns, building community outreach for the decades since I joined in 99 for the NAder campaign, they would now be a force to be reckoned with. Instead, they are running impossible campaigns at the top with no grassroots support. I doubt they will read this, but if they aren't willing to do the hard work, raise money, organize in at least every major city across the country, if they are not willing to do that, then all you are doing is hoping for a miracle savior to come in and win the day. I am not voting for Kamala Harris. I will likely not vote at all.
