@@chovek____________2489 its so important to honor your edge and not destroy it, but yes dance with it, get curious about it, expand it. The overnight successes are usually the extremely small percentage of people who can blast past their edge, hit he goal, then crash hard hard hard. Slow is fast in my opinion. Feeling better each day is more sustainable then having to avoid feeling exhausting. + thanks for the heads up - started using final cutpro and im actually pretty confused about the export settings

@@RecoveredResilience so glad it resonated with you. its tricky to navigate right? we want to enjoy the process and we want to do it for us, but at the same time there has to be some degree of selflessness to the service of others. it can fluctuate but i find its easier for me to adapt to whats working and learn to enjoy that process rather than stay confined in what i overly enjoy expecting others to adapt to me

@@kevji I really love that, selfless service to others... among all the talk of boundaries, self protection and self determination in the world that's a really valuable counter balancing perspective I've forgotten about. I want to learn how to be of selfless service to others while still honoring my boundaries and not being 100% selfless ya know? :)

@ you picked up on exactly what i was trying to express! so true. its neither hyper-independence "im my own woman with boundaries" nor uber co-dependemce where youve lost yourself in the giving. such a fine line, and a line that im very passionate about... maybe ill make a video on it!

@@Hardwaremoney totally. youtube is a much longer term play for businesses. This strategy works well on platforms that give you more immediate feedback. Of course, any form of audience is helpful but to build any business there has to be commitment to building trust through authenticity. To be launching ideas, products, and services while you build is a great way to get the audience engaged in what youre trying to create for the world. Also a huge fan of the in-person coffee shop type of networking and offering. I would definitely encourage you to keep on the youtube path and experiment with other platforms and places that feel authentic for you. @@erichopham beautiful. not sure what TT is, but if it involves people being stoked on your pants thats definitely confirmation. More of a wranglers man myself but i can support your dickies style! Here's what i would I do: Make an artful 7 day sequence of content( if social media is where people are digging on your dickies) Show your dickies, no fluff. then tell a story about why you started styling the way you do. Ask people what they like most, do a side by side maybe of 2 pairs. Then call to action post - a lot of you have been stoked on my dickies style, so im going to do a small handcrafted batch of 10 pairs. Join the waitlist so you dont miss out on snagging this special edition pair (i plan to sell out fast) then a few more pieces of content on story + style with a call to action sprinkled in good luck mate

@@SuperKeithers thats definitely one way of creating an artifact and i encourage you to start there. In that light, your artifact could be a poem of your thoughts. I would however work on a more intuitive medium if possible. What i mean is something that is less literal, less thinking based, and more feeling based. My personal favorite medium in this fashion is collage. I like to make 5 collages in 5 minutes- super rough but just focusing on making gestures of a feeling not perfect execution of an idea

@@hernehill6282 i love that! thats definitely how i relate to myself too. Body, mind, heart, soul - all good buddies but buddies sometimes buddies in disagreement. I especially like this frame for my fears as well. What if my fears are friends and i just need to listen compassionately or take them out for a metaphorical beer? really helps to get down to this wisdom

@@LukeDickins0n i would say yes AND... The problem deals with unconscious thinking for sure, but i find it helpful to frame it like this. Its not that thinking is the problem, rather i can start to choose to not have a problem with my thinking. This helps me take less focus from my mind and put it into my feeling body

Try creating a daily practice to help you feel into your body. stretching in the morning and evening, 30 minutes to express your emotional space (even if you dont feel anything at first) morning and evening walks are great re-calibrators for me too

@@davefair2969 The information overload loop... pretty soon you've gone through A-Z mentally without taking a step towards B. i get it. Practice cultivating trust in those actions that you KNOW you need to take - even if it seems unrelated. example- going to the dentist. calling that friend. fasting for a day. sometimes stretching these edges is what gets the engine moving in our creative pursuits
