My baby is 10 months, she doesnt want to crawl alot she can stand and pull herself up and stand by herself for a moment but she just seems to have no interest in walking, how do i make it so she wants to walk? She has a walker she has no interest in walking with it, if she falls she just cries. Im at my wits end what do i do?

We got this because my son was starting to outgrow his infant seat and should last until he no longer needs a booster. This was easy to install and he seems much more comfortable than before!

Loved that you included putting your sweet girl into the car seat. That really helped me figure out where the bottom buckle needed to be. I had just moved the buckle to the third spot without realizing it needed to move from the bottom as well. I was also happy to see how to get under the seat cover ( I had been trying to pull from the front vs the back (had accidentally been watching 3 in 1 LX tutorial).

Hi! Friendly neighborhood (internet) Child Passenger Safety Technician here with some advice! After tightening the car seat, be sure to check the tightness by grabbing the plastic of the seat at the belt path and pulling the seat left to right. The seat should not move more than 1 inch. When you were changing the crotch buckle position, the buckle should not have been able to slide under the LATCH strap. Additionally, the strap does need to be in front of the buckle strap (page 35 in manual). I hope this helps keep your little one safe!

But how do you adjust the height of the shoulder straps? There’s 2 height levels and mine are set to the high one but they need to be lower for now. I can’t find any tutorials that show how to get the straps out of the slot in the back to go lower 😩

We love this as an infant seat and forward facing for toddlers. Our grandson is now 5 and is slender and above average height. We have had difficulty with the crotch clip since he was 3 years old - it’s extremely tight against his crotch, even at the most distant setting. I’m fearful that he will be accidentally pinched. Also, when the head rest is adjusted up, it’s very difficult for my husband to see from the rear view mirror (he is not short). This is a sturdy car seat, but it’s not useful once our grandson was past age 3 due to the headrest and the tight crotch clip. We are buying a backless booster seat. I’m not using this as a booster due to the headrest which obstructs my husband’s vision, even though we can use this car seat with a seatbelt instead of a harness. Just a grandma’s comments.

This is someone else`s concerning comment about this car seat being prone to flipping while rear-facing (from side to side or into the back seat of the car) with little pressure applied to the back of the car seat. I found this on another review of this same car seat and I think everybody considering it for their kids should know about this: "I wanted to share a concern with this seat (Graco Slimfit3 LX) specifically--I have installed 4 other seats in at least 5 models of cars, and never had these types of challenges before, and am concerned that people may be installing an inherently unsafe seat. Here is the concern: Even when I install the seat (rear facing) so that it does not move even a centimeter back or forth or sideways along the belt path, it still rotates to the side 45+ degrees with minimal to moderate lateral pressure applied to the top of the seat, and pops forward/ smooshing against the back seat of the car and becoming completely loose with a moderate amount of pressure applied pressing the top of the back of the seat towards the back seat of the car. I don't mean that it bends forward a little, I mean the bottom pops back and the face of the seat hits the back seat, leaving the entire seat very loose. As I examine the mechanics of the car seat, the rear facing belt path is so close to the seat of the car and so tall, that I believe this is inevitable. When installed with shoulder belt, the seat rotates with any lateral pressure applied to the top, because the seatbelt acts as a wedge, facilitating rotational pressure. When installed with belt with shoulder belt and separately purchased seatbelt locks, it flips forward because the path is too close to the seat of the car. When installed with LATCH, it flips forward and/or rotates. I tried installing it center and sideboard in both a Scion XD and a 2014 Subaru Forester, and it had the same problem in both cars. I tried installing it at both tilt angles, same result. I wrote Graco 2 weeks ago (after buying 3 car seats), and haven't received a reply, except the initial generic acknowledgement that they have received the message and someone will get back to me. I am worried that people will use this seat because it is secure along the belt path, according to the directions, and their children will be sent flying (with the seat) in the event of a rear-end or side or flipped car accident. Again, it's not that I can't get this car seat to install properly according to the directions, it is that the "proper" install is not safe, at least in these 2 models of cars, in any configuration. I believe this is also likely true for other, possibly all, models of cars."

I was watching this video just a few days befor my baby was 5mo and was in disbelief, because he was really fast in his motor developement. But then at 5m1d he sat himself up for the first time. I do believe smaller thinner babies are faster in their motor developement. Mine also stood up for the first time at about 5m1-2weeks. He's now 7,5mo and is walking when holding onto things and can let go for 5 seconds. I'm now watching all your videos ❤️

Do you remove the wheels when it has to go through security in the airport? Or when you have to gate check it, do you have to remove the wheels to fit in a stroller bag? Thanks
