Do you have coordinates so we can verify by peer review?

Non si vede il posizionamento del laser e dalle immagini non si riesce a valutare a che altezza è dal mare.

i think another good test would be a left to right center point how far you can see in both directions down the lake and from your point how much curve slope should be from your point to both opposite points im guessing should be close to a thousand feet with that camera you using 8) <--------------------->l<------------------------>

The attenuation at that distance is too great. As the laser was hand held, straight on line of sight flashes was the best we could have hoped for. We were pleased with results from such limited equipment. Blessings and have a wonderful day.

hello! i got a question. with your measuring method, you just measured that the both "landparts" can see the laser, but you didnt measure the flatness of the water, or did i miss something? i dont think this showed anything or could you explain further?

The laser is focus d to shoot straight and true, so if we can see the laser at a 6” viewing height from a laser at less than 30ft over 28 miles away, then the logical conclusion is that there is no convexity in the water, blocking the line of sight to the laser. Read into that what you will. Have a blessed day.

You’ll never convince anyone who doesn’t want to see it. Very simple and effective way to confirm the lie. I live near Moyie, BC. I think we have a mutual friend in Yahk. Thanks for the video! Subscribed

Maybe its me who does not understand the experiment, but should it not have been on the surface of the water. Nevertheless earth is NOT a globe!

The physics of water is to lay flat and level when undisturbed, and land has topography, therefore, over water is the perfect way to test if it conforms to the surface of curved globe. There was nothing blocking a line of sight from just 6” heigh to less than 30ft at a distance of over 28 miles away. If a laser focuses light straight and true, which it does, the. We can conclude that there was no physical blockage of sight to the laser beam, therefore there was no convexity found on the water to block any line of sight over 28 miles. This is pretty definitive evidence of no curvature found, but people are free to make of it what they will. Blessings and have a wonderful day.

Was the plan to flash the laser? Why? Wouldn’t it be better to leave it in continuously?

New sub from Revelstoke! Glad you made a channel and hope to see more tests. I'm curious did you wait for certain conditions to do this test? Have you tried very early morning and have you had any unsuccessful tests so far? I have a theory that a setup where the laser should not be seen on a globe without slightly stronger than standard refraction, the laser should be visible sometimes with and always without inferior mirage but will only not be visible with inferior mirage. This would be great evidence for upward refraction causing the illusion of curvature, in my opinion.

New subscriber! Thank you for your work and I hope to see even farther testing. One thing, for your next test can you shoot the laser up in the sky and to the side to show that it is not visible at angle at those distances. That you can only see the source of the laser.

Great work by them, but here’s what they need to do: KEEP THE LASER STEADILY SHINING, NOT FLASHING IT ON AND OFF. PICK A TARGET AND LITERALLY SHINE IT ONTO IT WHILE SHOWING US AND CONFIRMING THE DISTANCE. Eye height and target distance are good but globies are gonna cry about other issues such as elevation, atmospheric conditions, refraction, etc. Prepare for that.

We had no tripod for the laser, so a hand held flash test was the best we could do. It gets much more finite to sight over 28 miles and only straight on line of sights flashes are possible to see because of the attenuation in the air close to the water over that distance. Catching line of sight flashes is hard enough, so we were pleased to have caught them with equipment we had, and we were able to see the laser flashes with the naked eye, which was amazing.
