He has an accessory that you can get winning the top secret battle at the shinra simulator in cap 17 (you must first end the game one time) It's the most difficult battle because it's in hard mode and you have to fight against Esper + the last secret boss so you neeed to max the weapon, all materias and reach level 50. The name of the accessory is gotterdammerung, something be like : Twilight of the gods and lets you start the battle with the limit bar always full and beside, it helps to recharger the limit bar during the battle

Why not Starshower before using Tifas Limit? It would add more damage than stagger. Might get to the tentacle phase faster
No time for that, Jenova repulse at the beginning if we don't pressure her. Could use it after or with Cloud first but still losing time by doing so.
@@aquarya3797 if you break a tentacle, it interrupts her. Starshower can break a tentacle on its own, so maybe doing that right away would work? I have a feeling it wouldn’t happen fast enough though. Still this is crazy fast. Well done Edit: I forgot that to break the tentacle in a single Starshower you would need berserk ring. So yeah, definitely wouldn’t work

The secret boss battle added with Intergrade gives you 2 more

With Protective Boots and the Materia's link Warding-Time that gives you the immune to Stop :)

Quel dommage que le jeu soit en anglais. On passe plus de temps à comprendre a quel materia ou technique ça correspond en français
Le jeu est run en anglais par toute la communauté speedrun pour faciliter le partage d'information, et vu que cette vidéo s'adresse essentiellement à ceux qui s'intéresse à apprendre le speedrun côté francophone, ils devront dans tous les cas jouer avec le jeu en anglais :)
Why not use Elemental Materia linked to Ice on Cloud for extra damage? GG on the world record btw :)
Not that useful honestly on that fight and I don't want to change for Sephiroth afterward (it already happened that I got an Ice barrier in Phase 3). Also I think my materia setup is good like that and I may need everything on CLoud at this moment butI'd need to check :)
@@aquarya3797 Makes sense. I just realized Elemental materia is a bad idea on Sephiroth so this change isn't really worth it.

Salut,je ne savais pas qu'il y avait des speedrun sur ce jeu que j'aime beaucoup (l'originale est mon jeu préféré). J'ai vu MV faire un speedrun, du coup je suis allé sur le site speedrun.com et là j'ai vu que tu détenais le reccord. Belle représentation de la France^^. C'est franchement impressionnant. Moi qui redoute de faire le mode difficile, quand je vois vos run c'est complétement abusé. Mais c'est un vrai spectacle, et j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à te regarder. Vas-tu continuer à améliorer ton temps? PS: dommage qu'on ne vois pas ton set up au début.

Just found your channel after thinking I set some serious times... Managed a 1:29 on Air Buster and the strats not overly complicated, you might be able to get it faster and incorporate it into your run

Dang I thought I had the record at 2:08. Super smart with the stagger timing and skipping the midphase. The limit break to not pressure there is RNG to me, I can't figure out when it pressures and when it doesn't. I gotta try your strat! Awesome run!! I'll try to sub 2 minutes on my next one mixing some things from here.

What was the set up you had with Cloud and Aerith? I'm doing this fight for the second time in hard mode... literally. I'm trying to get the manuscripts in chapter 9 and I only have 2 left to get in a different set of quests. I wanna try and get through it ASAP and it looks like you nailed it big time.

can you explain in detail how this skips chapter 15?
This does not skip the entirety of chapter 15 but the "Shinra Gauntlet" (various battles against troops as you go up) as well as despawning the fights on the ground floor of the tower & the fight on the side of its entrance.

Poison would probably make it a little bit faster. You'll actually be doing damage to it while it is flying around.
I already tried with poison and in the end it doesn't change that much the damage output I need to do in Phase 4 + I waste 1 ATB for Bioga instead of Blizzaga
