MONSTER rips,,,not only ACROSS, the canal,,,but that particular rip, goes for 100s, of yards, UP the canal, as the tide progresses,,,changes, by the minute,,,and ALWAYS strongest on the new, and full moon,,,that particular one is near the area called radar towers,,,its freakin awesome,,,,you hook anything, over 15,,,,and you will,,,in THAT,,,,and you KNOW, your hooked up,,,,thats why we use 40 lb powerpro, braid, and 11 ft, heavy rods, with van stahls, and stellas, and squalls,to drag those hard fighters, outta THAT,,,youre fightin the fish,AND the current, and rocks,,,,so many people come, under gunned,,,and thier tackle, gets busted, or spooled,,, the heavy gear, is used, FOR REAL,,,,its fun just to watch boats, struggle thru it, on the big tides,,,,its an AMAZINGLY fishy, spot,,,,,maaaan, i miss July,and sunburns,,,,,lol,,😎

I'm close to what your using,,,40 lb powerpro,,,with a 30 lb leader,,,,the strategy is, when I'm bait fishing, on the bottom,,,WHEN I get snagged,,,and occasionally I will,,,maybe 5 times, a year,,,,theres a whole technique, to NOT getting snagged, which I've covered, in an earlier vid, for beginners, that covers all the aspects,,,but, I know you're not a beginner,,,anyway,,,when you get a snag,,,the 30 lb mono leader will break, BEFORE, the braid,,,the leader is about 5 ft,,,and I been thru the flouro hoax,,,lol,,,its brittle,,,it sucks, at holding MOST knots,,if you get the slightest nick,,,it breaks,,and its ridiculously way expensive,,,then I got to thinkin,,,I never had a problem, with mono leaders!!!!, anyway,,,all flouro has,,,is it IS invisible,,,who cares,,,never had a prob, with mono,,,think about it,,,,anyway, I use 10/0 ,commercial circles, that I get at the ri saltwater expo, in spring,,,buy in bulk, there,,,and 11 foot 8 to 12 oz rod, and van stalhl 150, and penn 1 and 2 15 squall for conventional, and 9 ft conventional ug stik,,,best matches ever, for me,,,I have tons, other setups,,,but these are the ones that are bulletproof, for me,,,on the canal,,for the mack chunks, and bait, the weights are generally 3oz, for the spinning, and 5 oz, for conventional,,and on moon tides, go up, an oz or 2,,,,its a freakin, addictive science, right??lol,,😎

How's the m18 holding out,,?,its brand new to me, and amazingly, flawless!!,,,its got some wrist busting power, don't it,?,,im using the 5ah batteries, and 25 holes in,,it just rolls on,,,but it would be diff with 2 feet, of ice, iknow, but crazy power, and stupid light,,,that's what's so surprising,,,you wouldn't expect that power, from a setup, that's so light, but it, full on, does!!!!!amazing,,,are you using bigger than a 5 ah?😎

@@trailbossx2 seems like zone 11 has the highest deer kill according to Data.I haven’t seen many while in the area while driving thru.Rarely see a rd kill.

@wish2fish37 yes zone 11, has always been loaded, with deer,walk miles standish, trails, and youll see tons of tracks, poop, rubs,,,then sit about 15 yards, off of that fresh sign,,,and DONT MOVE,,,its a waiting game,,usually just before sunrise, or after sundown,,,you WILL, see, and kill deer, if you stick with these simple rules,,,miles standish, is a GREAT area, for hunting, and fishing,,😎

@ I live in San Diego California and stuff like this would never be sold at a garage sale. You couldn’t even find this kind of old-school stuff online at the secondhand apps. It’s a shame because San Diego California is a huge fishing community and everybody holds tight all the gear that’s around here you can find good sales on staff people that need money for rent or buying a new car but you could never find stuff that you got in this video never

@ocularpressure4558 well, then,,theyre not many, but a few times a year, they have antique fishing gear swaps, and sales, put on by fishing clubs,,,around New England. There 2 or 3, year,,,and you find them online advertised, by the sportsmans clubs,,,every area of the country has sportsmans clubs, that do this as a money generator for thier clubs, ,and last resort, would be to buy them out right, online,,,ebay,,,and other such sights, under, simply, antique fishing gear,,,on a Google search, theres many,,,but beware of fakes, buy a antique gear guide, such a s "lucky antique fishing gear guide",,,and others, which give descriptions. And price guides,,,so you'll know whatcha got,,,if you're really interested, hope this helps,,,the stuff, is too cool, if your a fisherman, and outdoorsman,,,😎

Well, that's a good idea,,,but I doubt I can get that off, by new year,,,but I can give you info, right now,,,when I was younger, I started with lace up hunting boots,,and I would get nice ones, I like them tall,,,so brands like red wing, and chippewa,,,,sorrel,,etc, but soon found out that leather takes forever to dry, and twigs and mud gets all caught up, in the laces,,,so when I started trapping, all the guys had the rubber, or synthetic material, knee high boots,,,no smell, for trapping,,,but more importantly completely waterproof, and no laces,,,you should wear heavy socks, to prevent blisters, till they're brok in,,,really good brands, are,,,basspro redheads,,lacrosse,,muck boots,,sorels,,i like the basspro redheads,,,thats the one in the vids,,,,all rubber, or sinthetic,, too, not the ones, with the leather bottoms, like ll beans,,,those are as bad as lace ups,,,the lace up have thier place,,,ON DRY GROUND,,,like upland hunting,,,but I hunt in swamps, and I even fish, in them,,,theyre really not rubber anymore, thier composite materials,,,a good pair will last decades, and are so easy to care for,,,200 bucks, or under,,,will get you a great pair,,,anything over that,,,is too much,,,with the leather boots for upland, my favorites, are Redwing,s, and Chippewas, and with proper care, they'll last your whole life,,,the more you wear em the better they get, and all quality leather boots can be resoled,,,,about 250 to 350, for the leather upland boots,,,,basspro, or dicks,, orcabelas, will have the BEST. ,,,hope this helps,,, and will do a real comparison, review, at some point too,,,thanks for the input, and thanks so much for watchin, bro,,,😎

No,,,not a stupid question,,,,during the summer season, THE army Corp of engineers, has Porta potties, about every quarter mile, or so,,,and the major recreation areas, such as bourne, and Sagamore, rec areas and others,,have them year round,,,also to be totally honest,,,its a ton of woods, all along the canal, and easy to slip into,,,tho I'm im not reccomnding it,,,lol,,,but if ya gotta,,,ya gotta,,,,,lol,,,also, bear in mind, the canal, is not just for fishing, tho its probably the best on the east coast,,,but people jog, bicicle, picnic, and walk,,its ageorgeos scenic area, that is truly stunning,,,youll NEVER tire of the beauty, of the ocean, wildlife, yachts, and ships,,,,and the cape cod charm!!!,,no really,,you CANT wear it out,,,,youll see,,,thanks for watching!😎!😎
