Understand your point of view. I use both full size and compact C size bodies and plan to get the new 16-25/2.8 G to go with the 24-50/2.8 G I already purchased even though I own the 16-35/2.8 GM II and 24-70/2.8 GM II. For me personally I like having a smaller travel kit and don’t plan to sell off my full size kit., at least not yet. Thank you and take care.
Been thinking about the lens. But not ready to push the yes button yet. With ZVE1 i do need 16mm. But i already have G PZ 16-35mm and a 50mm f2.8 macro prime.

20mm f1.8 Sony G Series. Great lens for that depth but big con is its prime so no flexibility to zoom on the go. Still great lens!

About exposure - ignore the metering reading, use zebras instead to see when your highlights are blown, set them to 85%
I found the rule of thumb that works for me is +1.7 to + 2.0 not a fan of zebras when recording myself.
