Queen. I recall when Lisa & her band exploded on 'the scene' in 1989. Lisa's incomparable vocal range was astonishing. She was chain-smoking wicked-strong cigarettes even then, although her live performances were always a powerful 'must see' experience. (See LS @ 'Wembley'; @ 'Ronny Scott's' (smoking cigarettes throughout, sadly); her performance at 'Tribute to Trevor Horn.') HOWEVER, to this day, in comparison of LS's legendary vocal talent @ her prime, I must say, "Adele? . . . Meh."

This is the type of concert that ALL artists should emulate. No pre-recorded back tracking on vocals or instrumentation. No constant costume changes, dancers all over the place, set changes, and all that junk. That's why I stopped going to concerts long ago. I'd rather pay top dollar knowing you get a full band playing everything. The musicians and vocals are the star of the show, front and center, and that's it.

I’ve been a Lisa fan since the All Around the World 🌎 era after which I discovered her work with Blue Zone (Love Jackie). I have always thought she was underrated and should have been a much bigger star in the US. I don’t want to comment or speculate about the attached concert other than hearing her voice here makes me very sad 😞. In her hay day, she was right up there with Whitney and Aretha.
The smokes have taken a toll… but I will ALWAYS LOVE my sweetest rose 🌹 My gorgeous Lisa Anne! Now, and forever in my heart.
@@DrNoahBoddy004 I figured it was smoking but didn’t want to speculate. If she hadn’t fallen to the vice, I bet her voice would be every bit as perfect as back in the Around the World days. Even though her last LP couldn’t compare, I still like some of the songs and her effort put forth.
I have always held Lisa in the highest esteem.....but I'm glad someone brought this up. Her voice on a few songs seemed way off as did her actions....you mention cigarettes are the culprit.....is it anything else, as many performers have fallen to many demons.....Sade for example....so sad please tell me no....
