I'm from Beaufort but my MOS was in Food Service, 92G. I can agree that the soldiers were fed very well. Thank God I didn't gain any wait working in the mess hall because we sweat our butts off preparing, setting up and breaking down the lines. I stayed skinny my entire military career and then gained the weight when I got out. That was 20 years ago, lol.

my drill instructors slayed me a few times for this exact reason. They watched me shave in the morning and they inspected me by the afternoon for a few days until they believed me. They were all shocked and for the rest of boot camp I had to shave 2 times a day.

Especially when you're in the reserves, that's just shows a lot of commitment, hard work and Sleepless nights, you became obsessed and you got what you earned. Congratulations. Unfortunately For me, i'm a Terminal Lance, but it's all good 👍 I got VA disability, and then when I got out of the Marines, I became a correctional officer for about a year, and now I'm an Engineer and goinh to school to become a Cybersecurity Analyst.
